"Hi, Yuu. I was kinda just thinking, and I could really use a friend right now. I know we're not super close but I really don't think Asher is going to be that friend right now." He rubbed his arm. Something about it felt off. I've worked with quite a few people over the course of the last 2 years and I had picked up on a lot of social cues towards certain situations. Mika currently wasn't doing anything that could possibly give me an idea of what he was feeling. It was strange. He just looked... numb. Not the kind of numb you see from those struggling from depression or grief. Just numb.

"What's wrong?" I asked as I leaned against my door frame crossing my arms. I know that crossing your arms makes you seem less approachable, but it also made me feel safer.

He offered me a pathetic excuse for a smile and simply asked, "May I come in?"

"Yeah, sure," I moved aside and let him enter, "my roommate just left. You have excellent timing."

"Mmm, excellent indeed," he chuckled, "ah, gosh, I'm sorry." He said out of nowhere.

Do I have any reason not to trust him? Nothings coming to mind, so let's just hope he's actually safe.

"There's nothing to be sorry for, Mika." I smiled.

His big, beautiful, blue eyes were staring at me again. It would've been creepy if they weren't so captivating, it felt like they were drawing me in. I wanted to be closer. They once again seemed to be almost fluorescent, except the lights in here were perfectly normal.

"I'm not the most open person, so forgive me if I don't share what's making me upset," the blonde tilted his head a bit and my eyes followed like my life depended on it, a smirk formed on his face, "would it be ok if we watched a movie or something?"

I swallowed back the lump in my throat that I didn't realize had formed until just then and nodded. His eyes stayed transfixed on mine for what felt like an hour. I'm not even certain he was blinking.

Finally, he looked away, and I blinked a few times before walking over to Yoichi and my's DVD shelf, "We don't really have much, but we do have these."

Mika put his hand on my shoulder, "I'm sure it'll be fine. Thank you for doing this for me."

"No problem, I could use the company anyway," I said as I looked over the movies. I came across one that made me chuckle, "so, this is a little embarrassing, but I'm a sucker for foreign mafia movies. I have no clue why. Usually Russian and Italian ones. Let me just tell you, Italian movies are weird as hell, but I love them. I don't even really understand much of them, but I love them."

"Oh, that's actually kinda odd. While I don't know Italian that well, I am fluent in Russian." Mika admitted.

"Oh my gosh, really?" I asked excitedly.

"I actually lived in Russia for a few years of my early childhood." He revealed.

"You just get better and better." I said.

"Oh, you don't even know the half of it," He smiled down at me, "unfortunately, I didn't really like it there that much, it was too cold."

"Yeah, that sounds about right," I said, "to be honest, I think being from anywhere other than here is very cool, especially if you can speak the languages. Oh my god."

"I know... 6 including English." Mikaela stated as if it was no big deal.

"6?!" I was shocked, "which languages?"

"Well, since we deal with countries all over I figured I should at least know some. I know English, Russian, Spanish, French, Chinese, and Japanese. I can kind of pick up on some other eastern languages, but not very well." He ruffled his sunshine hair.
