"So, Asher..." I tapped my pen against my clipboard a few times, "I don't think we're making much progress. You've closed yourself off since you barged in that one time. I'm going to be completely honest with you, I can't help you if you don't trust me. I can talk to Mika about getting you another therapist if you would prefer. It won't hurt my feelings, I want you to feel safe and get adequate help."
"I trust you," He said as he clamped and unclamped his hand, "I just don't really know what to say anymore."
"We can keep doing this, but you would benefit more from talking to me." I told him.
"I know, it's just hard to try and talk to you about this when-" he cut himself off.
"When what?" I asked.
He tugged at his hair, "I'm just worried you're going to get hurt."
"By him?" I asked.
"...yes." The hesitance made me think there was more to it.
"He won't get close enough to hurt either one of us, have you met Mikaela?" I wasn't really trying to make light of the situation, but I really didn't see it becoming a problem.
"You're probably right." He chuckled.
"Can I ask you a bit of an uncomfortable question?" I asked.
"I'll do my best to be honest." Asher's bright green eyes met mine, I had his full attention.
"Why did Mikaela call you Matthew?" I asked.
"Ah, I had a feeling you would ask about that," he slumped down, "I had a name change. I wanted something a little bit less reminiscent of my past. Mikaela knew me then, so he's still adjusting to calling me by a new name." Asher explained.
"I see." It felt like a weight had lifted off of my chest.
"What did you think was the reasoning?" He asked.
"I didn't know, I'm sorry for calling you by that name the other day." I apologized.
"It's ok, it doesn't exactly trigger me or anything, just not what I want to be called anymore." Asher informed me.
"I'll be sure to remember that, thank you for being honest with me. I think it really helped us build more trust." I smiled.
His leg started to bounce, probably another anxious habit of his, at least until he asked that question. That good forsaken question that sent chills up my spine for reasons I didn't understand, "Do you hear that?"
Fear shot through me like a knife. I instinctively wrapped my arm around my torso, "I don't— Mi- Asher, I don't hear anything." This felt too familiar. I didn't like it. I could feel my breathing becoming more and more shallow and quick. I could barely breathe. Suddenly, I could hear everything.
"Yuu, are you ok?" Asher asked as he was immediately by my side trying to figure out what was wrong. His voice sounded off, I couldn't focus.
Looking at his eyes was the worst decision I could've made in that moment, I felt overstimulated. They were too close to something else I've seen. Someone. I needed to get out, "I-" the words got caught in my throat, "leave." I said
What the fuck is happening? It hurts.
I clamped down harder on my stomach as I gnashed my teeth together. I had the urge to vomit and the only thing keeping me from doing so was the black dots clouding my vision.
Make it stop.
"I'll go get someone." He rushed out and my eyes started to roll back into my head as words I don't remember hearing and couldn't piece together echoed throughout my mind.
"...setting... free"

I alerted the front desk man who promptly called an ambulance and got up to Mikaela's office as quickly as possible.
"I wouldn't do that." Jack began.
"SHUT!" I said as I ran to the door and busted it open.
"...learned after last ti-" Mikaela whipped his head over to look at me and then looked to the wall. I followed his gaze and had to repress the urge to gag.
Two different colored eyes met my own, shit eating grin all too familiar for my liking, "Hey, baby~"
I glanced over to Mikaela who was sitting calmly in his chair, chin in hand and looking in my direction once more, "I didn't think you'd be done yet. Easy day?" He asked.
"I-" I swallowed back the lump forming in my throat, "Yuu, he's-"
Ray had his arms around me before I could even realize it. I felt like throwing up. My heart was beating so fast, "What?" Ray asked as he ran his teeth along my neck, "You seem so scared. Don't have anything mean to say now that I'm right in front of you? Why won't you look me in the eyes?" I tried to push off of him, but he held me tight. If the situation had been any different I would've only had room for rage and fear, but I was far too worried for those emotions to fully kick in.
Mikaela had perked up a little, I had a feeling he felt some sort of inclination to not let Ray hurt me on account of Yuu.
"Mikaela, Yuu's-" Ray clamped his hand over my mouth, I hated it, it was disgusting.
"Be quiet," He kissed my forehead and pulled me tighter against him, my ribs were starting to feel the pressure, "I missed you so much, but you're already making me mad." his voice was a low growl at this point.
"You're one to talk." The blonde satan rolled his eyes.
I took a deep breath, Mikaela was here, he wouldn't let Ray hurt me. I needed to tell Mikaela now. I swiftly hit Ray in the throat, making him back off and gasp for air, "You fucking cunt!" he went to grab me, but Mikaela was in between us within the second.
"Down doggy, don't make a scene," he stared him down, disgust evident on his face, "you're truly pathetic. Did you really think he was going to just let you do whatever you wanted when he's clearly desperate to speak? Why don't you leave?" He turned his head to me, not daring to turn his back to Ray, he knew all too well what that would lead to, "What do you need?"
"Yuu had some kind of episode, he was hyperventilating and not making any sense. There's an ambulance coming to get him," A look of worry and anger crossed his face, and I knew which one was directed at me, "I was trying to tell you."
"Remind me not to let Ray talk anymore," he glared at the man in question until Ray noticeably shrunk down and took his leave, "I'm going down there, I don't give a fuck what you do, just don't get in the way."
As soon as he was gone I took a seat in his chair, dumbass was in such a rush with Ray and now this he forgot to close his laptop, it was time to see what he was really up to with that club. I really did enjoy my time as a detective, while what I was doing may not have been very respectful to Yuu's current state, I knew a good opportunity one I saw one. I knew better than anyone that Mikaela had no interest in night clubs. My only concern was this was before he got his memories back. I may not have known as much about my friend as I thought.
"Oh, shit."
I needed to get Yuu out as fast as possible. It appears that new Mikaela may have been even more sinister than the old one... combining the two was the worst thing that could've happened.
