"Oh wow," Gayoung whispered, standing in front of Subin's house in shock. It was huge. And there was so much security.
Who are you, really?
Subin looked at her nervously. "Yeah, it's kind of big," he said, scratching the back of his neck awkwardly.
"Kind of... that's an understatement," she muttered, looking around in awe. "It's really beautiful," she sighed, following behind Subin and Seungwoo. "I'd love to live in a house like this someday."
"Would you like to move in?" Subin joked. "We certainly have the room."
Gayoung laughed. "Really? Then excuse me for leaving early, I have to go pack," she teased, pretending to turn around.
Subin grabbed her arm and continued dragging her along. "You can't leave yet," he complained. "You'll miss all the fun."
"What fun are we doing, exactly?" she asked as they kept walking through his large garden, turning a corner to find a more empty part. It was at the back of the house, and nothing was planted yet. He had some plants in pots from the store, waiting to be put in the dirt. There was a drab shed, the paint peeling off of it. Maybe for tools? And next to it was about ten paint cans, all different colors.
"Seungwoo, you're going to work with the plants," Subin said, gesturing to the pots. There were so many of them. Different shrubs and ferns and flowers. Gayoung truly would have no idea where to start, but Seungwoo was already looking at them thoughtfully, his eyes sparkling with ideas.
He didn't look tired or stressed anymore.
"And Gayoung and I are going to re-paint this shed," Subin continued. "We'll paint it white first, and then paint flowers of all different colors on top of it."
"We'll have to wait for the white paint to dry first," she pointed out. "I won't be able to help you finish today-"
"So we'll finish another day. And that way Seungwoo can help us paint the flowers too!"
"Sounds good," Seungwoo said, taking off his suit jacket and handing it to Subin. He rolled up the sleeves of his white button-down and... gosh, he looked hot. He had beautiful arms...
"Gayoung, you're staring at him," Subin teased.
She blushed, looking away. "Well, it's his fault for being so handsome," she said defensively, crossing her arms. When she dared to look back at Seungwoo, he was smirking at her, his eyes laughing.
"I guess I should say thank you?" he said playfully, crouching down in the dirt and starting to dig.
"I think you should," Gayoung agreed, going over to help Subin with the paint. "I just complimented you."
"Well then, thanks."
