Chapter Five: Dilemna

"I'm going to leave if Seungwoo doesn't come in two minutes," Subin said firmly. 

Seungsik laughed. "You said that ten minutes ago." 

"I mean it this time," Subin insisted. 

"You also said that ten minutes ago," Seungsik pointed out. 

Subin huffed, blowing at his bangs. "I have homework to do," he complained. 

"Well then you should go," Seungsik said, patting his hand.

"You know I won't," Subin sighed. 

"I know you won't," Seungsik agreed, laughing and shaking his head at him. He leaned forward, patting Subin's head. "It's because you love us too much, right?" 

"Absolutely not," Subin said, pushing his hand away playfully. "I just get lonely walking home alone." 

"Awww, cute," Seungsik cooed, patting his head again. "Oh! There's Seungwoo," he said, standing up. Subin stood up too, turning around to see Seungwoo running towards them. 

"I'm sorry," Seungwoo panted, putting a hand on Subin's shoulder and trying to catch his breath. "Did I make you guys wait long?" 

"Yes!" Subin whined. "What took you so long?" 

"Don't listen to him," Seungsik said, rolling his eyes. "We've been waiting for less than fifteen minutes."

"You dramatic kid," Seungwoo sighed, flicking Subin's forehead lightly. "Let's go," he said, leading the way out. 

"I have a dilemma," Subin told them as they walked towards their houses. 

"What is it?" Seungwoo asked, his forehead creasing in concern. 

"I made a new friend. Her name is Gayoung, and she asked me to help her find a job tomorrow after school. But I have no idea where to look." 

Seungwoo stopped walking and staring at him for a long moment. "You... idiot," he said, sighing and shaking his head. "You literally volunteer at an animal shelter. Seungsik volunteers at the daycare. I have a hotel. You have tons of options."

"You're right!" Subin said excitedly. "What would I do without you?" he sighed, shaking his head. 

"I wonder about that sometimes too," Seungsik murmured sarcastically. 

Before Subin could make a sarcastic comment back in return, Seungwoo went in between them and wrapped his arms around their shoulders. "Let's go home, hm?"

Subin smiled, his heart expanding as he looked at his two friends. 

Truly, what would he do without them?

They were more than friends. 

They were family.

I'm posting a special chapter this week before Thursday cause... VICTON HAD THEIR COMEBACK TODAY!! 

They all attacked me so much omg. I swear I'm loyal to Seungwoo but omg... Chan??!??!? Sejun?!?!? Why would you do this to me😭 I love the song, and I love the MV, especially the sunset shots of Seungwoo and when Sejun raises his eyebrow like skjdnfbsdwks

The lyrics also low key fit with my plans for this story which I find kind of amusing😂 The whole part about following your dreams🥰
