"If I don't leave now I'm really going to be late," Gayoung muttered, finally tearing herself away from the shed.

"You definitely said that fifteen minutes ago," Seungwoo commented.

Gayoung glared down at him, but it was hard to hold her glare for longer than... a second.

His clothes were covered in dirt because he kept crawling around the floor. In the short time they'd been working, he'd already managed to transform a small area of his project into a masterpiece.

"Wow," said, crouching down beside him and touching the leaves of one of the plants. "This is beautiful. You're really talented, you know that?"

"I know," he said, winking at her. But his smile quickly faded into something serious. "But really, thank you, that means a lot."

"Well it's true," she said softly. "And you seem a lot happier here than the hotel. Why-"

He held a finger to her lips, making her heart skip a beat. "There are certain things that are expected of me," he said coldly. "As much as I want to leave the hotel business and just do landscaping, I can't. It's not on option," he said angrily.

Gayoung understood that the anger wasn't directed at her. It was directed at his situation.

She put a hand on his shoulder and looked into his eyes. "I really don't know much about your situation. Or... any of your situations," she commented, looking around at Subin's giant house again. "But I think you should try running towards what makes you happy."

"Now," she said, standing up. "I really do need to run. Even if I run, I think I'll be late," she sighed, looking at her phone.

"Why don't you just ask Seungsik to pick you up?" Seungwoo asked. "He probably hasn't even left his house yet."

"I don't want to make him go out of his way..." she mumbled.

"Out of his way?" Subin asked, laughing. "He literally lives down the block. It's on his way. I'll give him a call," he said, stepping away and calling Seungsik.

Gayoung looked down at her paint-covered clothes. It would have been smart to bring a change. Though, she hadn't realized that she'd be painting today.

"He said he's on his way," Subin told her after a moment.

"I'll go wait out front," she said. "Thanks for inviting me today, I had fun."

"Tomorrow we'll go to the amusement park?" Subin confirmed. "All of us?"

"Absolutely," she agreed, waving bye to the both of them and running to the front of the house, where Seungsik was already waiting. She got in the front with him.

"You look like you were working hard," he commented with a laugh, looking at her paint-covered clothes.

Gayoung laughed too. "A little bit, yeah. Subin is full of surprises."

"That he is," Seungsik agreed. "Now, are you ready to go see the kids?"

"Always!" she said cheerily, and off they went.
