Lexis POV;
"So you had that nightmare again?" Drea parked her car next to BR after our shopping spree. Believe me, the backseat can hardly accommodate our shopping bags.
"Yah." I curtly answered Dreas previous question. You see, eversince my mom was brutally murdered right before my eyes two years ago, I've been getting nightmares about it ever so often.
"Babe, I'm so sorry. Come on, lets have some chocolate chip ice-cream to help chear you up!" Leave it to Drea to make my day. She knows exactly what I want.
We both got some delicious chocolate chip ice-cream, before plopping ourselves down on a quite two person window seat, to enjoy it.
"So, I heard Carl Tucker, from the engineering department asked you out, hmmm...?" Drea playfully nudged me while devouring her ice-cream. "What did you say to him?"
"Do you believe Carl would have survived without a broken bone if I had agreed?" My sentence was meant literally, as I said it to Drea.
"That's true. If you were to date a guy, either your brother or your dad would have beat the crap out of him."
I laughed humorlessly at Dreas truthful statement. My brother Xander, as well as my dad were quite overprotective of me. Especially after moms death.
That was one of the reasons they let me stay away from the mafia since two years ago. Not many know I'm the only princess of the American mafia. Heck, not many even know of my very existance.
"Hello, earth to Lexi!" Drea screamed in my ear, making me snap out of my thoughts, and almost fall over my chair.
"What were you saying?" I muttered sheepishly.
"I said, when do I get to intern at the company. I wanna have some work already!"
Only now did I remember that I agreed to let Drea work in my fashion company. Did I forget to mention that.
I started my own fashion brand, named L&M at 18. It's named after me and my mom, Madison Sofia Torsney. I borrowed start up fund from my dad, which I later repaid, and I'm proud to say my business has become one of the top in the fashion industry in just two years. It helped that I major in designing and minor in management.
"I've already dealt with the paper work. You can come in whenever you want". I gave a toothy grin to my awfully jolly friend.
"That's great! I'm reporting early tommorow morning boss." Drea jumped happily in her seat, before checking her phone which dinged, indicating the arrival of a text.
"Holly! My brother is back home, and he is quite mad I ditched the bodyguards again." Drea definetly didn't sound the least bit guilty. That's Drea for you.
"Come on, I'll drop you off before I go face my doom."
I laughed alkng with her, before paying for our ice-cream and leaving.
