CHAPTER 19: he wants dating advice?

Lexis POV;

I was screaming inwardly at the awkward situation.

Its been around five seconds since Alessandro, ever so generously allowed me to call him Zandro.

I was a bit late to react really. This guy really doesn't seem all that scary.

"I'm not sure it will be a good idea to call you so informally. We barely know each other." I said giving a slight smile, while making sure my true emotions were hidden.

"Then..shall we get to know each other?"

"Uh?.." I couldn't maintain my facial expressions anymore. I'm sure my face showed how surprised I was. Well, this could be considered the first time I lost control of my facial expression!

"I don't see why you're so surprised. Could it be that you're boyfriend wouldn't like it if you befriend another man?" Alessandro asked while giving me a slight smirk, which seemed kinda forced?!

"It's not that. I don't have a boyfriend. It's just..you don't seem like the kind of guy who would initiate a conversation with a girl, much less want to befriend them".

I hope I didn't offend this big guy by saying my true thoughts!

"Oh, and what makes you think that?" He raised a brow at me and asked.

"Well..you know..all the stuff Drea talks about regarding you!"

Sorry buddie, it seems I can only throw you out. I can't possibly tell him it's because people in the mafia know him as cold hearted, and even think of him as GAY!

There was a slight silence after me throwing Drea out as a shield. It only lasted for so long tho, as a chuckle broke through the silence.

I gazed at the so called bloodthirsty mafia boss who was, without a mistake chuckling in front of me. I'm seriously starting to doubt this guys ruthless reputation.

"So, you've heard about me from Drea before?"

So he doesn't blame Drea? I don't see how me hearing about him was important, but I gave a slight nod in acknowledgement.

"Then you should know that I've never dated before or even been close to a girl before right?"

Ok? Where is this going actually. In the end I still decided to answer him, and see what he is trying to say. Maybe the guy wants dating advice?

"I have actually." I held back the urge to ask if rumours about him being gay was true.

"Then what do you think of me?"

"What?" I really can't be blamed. I seriously don't get what he is asking.

"I mean, do you think as a girl, I'm boyfriend material?"

Woah, is he asking this because he lacks self confidence or something. Highly doubtful tho.

"I don't see why your asking that, but, I think your quite amazing. You run a large enterprise with your own hard work and seem quite dependable. As for your looks, I'll rate them a 100."

I winked while trying to boost the guys self confidence.

"Sir!" We were interrupted by...James was it?

This is the guy I beat isn't he? Now this guy actually looks like someone who suffered a beating, with all the bandages and stuff!

I smirked inwardly while showing concern on the outside. "My, are you alright? You seem quite..hurt."

"He's fine. I'll see you at dinner then." Alessandro didn't let James answer as he strode out while literally dragging James with him.

Is it just me or did the guys aura seemed to turned frosty all of a sudden.
I could still feel a chill.

Guess he still is a mafia boss who is quite unrivalled.
