Lexi's POV;
I knew I made the right decision as I stared at his gaze filled with love. He was willing to wait for me to fully open up. Maybe, Dimitri's idea wouldn't be bad to consider. Our mafias really can try to come to an agreement.
"Shall we get you home? It's almost day break. I think our time of starting a relationahip was quite unique, don't you?" He looked at me teasingly.
I laughed a little at that. It wasn't my idea to ruin a goodnights sleep. Not that either of us would probably consider it a bad thing!
The sky really was starting to light up. "Well, shall I drop you off? Or maybe we can go to my place since it's closer?" He seemed hopeful, but I can't do that just yet.
"I'm actually staying with family right now, and I kinda ran out without letting anybody know. So...drop me off a street or so away from my place?"
He seemed a bit dissappointed, but still acquiesced.
He let go of his dissappointment soon enough, as he asked me more about myself on the ride. We ended up playing twenty questions to know each other better. Turns out we are quite similar in ways. We both love the colours red and black, and we are not picky eaters. We also like sports. He really likes car racing, which I would love to try. My dad and brother never allowed it before!
And what do you know, we both like watching animations! Childish maybe, but who cares! I didn't expect him to have that kind of interest though.
"Actually, other than you, I've never let anyone find out I like watching animations. Not even my family." I felt so flattered! And that smile he just showed, it almoat melted my heart! He looks super handsome with a smile.
I never imagined I'd see such an expression on his usually cold face. We were able to get along so easily that it came to me as a surprise! We didn't even share our interests in guns and fighting, considering he doesn't know anything yet, and still, we were able to have a comfortable atmosphere between us all the way until we reached our destination.
We stopped in front of a small bakery. It was around a ten minute walk to my home from here. I know he had his doubts since I didn't let him send me right to my door, but I don't plan on concealing it for that long!
I removed my seatbelt and glanced at him. "I'll see you later then?"
"Ya, let me know when you reach home, okay?"
I nodded at what he said and hesitated a little before suddenly moving towards him and leaving a slight kiss on his cheek. With a blushing face, I ran out staright after doing it!
I turned to look at him after getting out of the car, only to see him frozen solid, with his eyes wide open! I smirked to myself, feeling a bit accomplished before running off.
I looked at the brightening sky as I reached home. Contemplating a bit, I decided to enter through the window. It wasn't that high anyway, just two floors while avoiding the high security! Our house was a not that that big three floor place on a usually bustling street. Running out seemed way easier than running back in! Luckily it was still quite early, hence there were barely any people in sight!
Letting out a frustrated sigh, I avoided the secret guards brother placed around here, as well as the cameras and jumping though my room window, which was on the second floor.
"Safe!.....Or not!!" I felt terribly guilty as I looked at my brother who was sitting on my bed.
"So, care to explain where you have been?"
