CHAPTER 7: it's him!

Lexis POV;

I closed my notebook, as the lecture came to an end.

Classes started again today, and I'm glad too. I love learning all about designing.

I grabbed my dark red bag and trotted out the door. I have lunch planned with Drea, as usual.

I was stopped at the end of the first floor stairs. Looking at the boy in front of me, whom I've never met, I wondered what he wanted. "Um, hello! Anything I can do for you?"

"Your Alexis Dennis right?" No surprise he thought Dennis was my last name. I rarely do use Torsney.

"I am!" I gave him a skeptical look. Do I know this guy?

"Um, you see... there is this guy in my class, Jeremy. I'm from the computer science department by the way." Now I'm having a bad feeling. He didn't seem to notice tho, as he stuffed a letter in my hand before continuing his rant. "Jeremy was too shy to do this himself, so he asked me to pass you this letter. Well, my jobs done here. Bye, bye!"

I stood there, still unable to comprehend what just happened. The letter is obviously a love letter as I expected, but I've never been confessed to in such a way before. I guess the guy didn't even want a response.

I chuckled a bit before making my way out of campus, and towards the cafe' nearby. I didn't forget to throw the letter in a garbage can on the way. Andrea can't know about this, or I won't hear the end of it for a long time!

5 minutes later

OK, how many times am I going to be stopped today. "I guess I should forget about lunch today huh?" I muttered literally looking up at the two giants in front of me.

I thought my 5'6 height wasn't short, but these guys definitely make me look like an ant. Not that I'm afraid of them.

"So..can I help you?" I asked sizing up the two in front of me, checking whether I would have a hard time taking them down if I had to. They were most certainly from an underground background.

Just my luck, the road here is totally empty. I guess that's the reason they probably were waiting for me here. No sign of life!

I waited for quite sometime, but neither of the guys uttered a word. "If you can't state your purpose, can you at least move? I'm hungry!"

The guy on the left moved at my words. He raised his hand, making me get ready to fight, only to see him pick out a tablet from his jacket.

I relaxed my stance a bit as I took the tablet he shoved my way, only to release a frosty aura at the person on the video that is paused.

Fun time is over. It seems these guys work for him. I hesitated a bit before pressing the play button.

"принцесса, ты скучал по мне? Твой отец и старший брат определенно много работали, чтобы скрыть твои следы последние два года. Но наконец-то я снова тебя нашла! Подожди меня!" (princess, did you miss me? Your father and big brother definitely worked hard to hide your traces the past two years. But, I've finally found you again! Do wait for me!)

I threw the tablet as the video ended. I was fuming by now. That bastard! I'm quite fluent in russian, so I had no difficulty in listening to the video.

The two giants picked up the tablet and left in a black van parked nearby, leaving me angry, afraid and a bit lost.
