Alessandros POV;

I stared at the unwavering gaze of my enemy. He really did look like he was planning to escape from right under my nose. The guy had guts!

But...there was really something awfully familiar with this Z! Could it be because he escaped from me once before?

I didn't let my enemy see any of my feelings, as I ensured my face remained expressionless on the outside. However, it seems Z wasn't the same.

I could see it in his eyes; the dude was hella nervous, unlike in our previous meeting. Although I was barely in contact with him at that time, I could still see that he was composed and in control of his emotions. So why the current situation?

"Ahem..you seem quite lost in thought." I looked at Z. It seems I was thinking a bit too much. The guy had returned to his composed self.

"Do I now? It's not like you could make me be lost in thought." I smirked as I looked towards him without any humour.

"Well then..shall we fight. I'd like to know how strong the infamous Alessandro Alfonso really is!" Was he mocking me?

Heh! The guy dared!!

"Shall we then?" I didn't completely finish my sentence before Z initiated an attack, aiming right at my trachea (base of the throat). Damn, he's aiming at a deadly spot from the very begining!

Lexi's POV;

I really am not liking this. I stared at Alessandro as he showed me this side of him that I never really wanted to see. The sweet and clumsy guy who confessed to me not long ago seemed very different from this.

Who am I kidding. This cold side had always been a part of him. I looked at Liam who could barely say a word in his battered state. I knew I had to fight Zandro considering my current plight.

"Focus Alexis, focus!" I mumbled to myself as I realized I was showing how nervous I am even from my face. This won't do! He is my enemy before anything else, and fighting him is my only choice to get Liam out of here safely!

I calmed my face and faced my enemy! Our conversation was merely something I wanted to use as a ruse to avoid fighting. Doesn't seem to be working though.

"Shall we then?"

I didn't wait for him to finish speaking before attaking him. Steeling my heart, I aimed my attack at his trachea. I knew he had the ability to deflect it. Otherwise I would never want to even try harming him!

My assumptions were correct as he deflected my attack, hitting me in my left abdomen in the process!

F**k that hurt! We started attacking each other without bothering to keep in our strength. His punches were accurate and fierce. I've lost count of how many of those punches I've taken. That didn't mean he didn't suffer either. Although my strength is incomparable to his, if I can't even fight head on with him, wasn't my training all these years a waste?!

Looking at his bruised face, I wasn't proud at all. I don't like this! Not one bit!

My nose felt stuffy all of a sudden. No..I won't cry. I can't! I looked at our current surroundings before letting out a laugh. Zandro raised a brow, obviously surprised.

"I didn't think you would actually be on par with Xander. You were able to injure me as well. I really underestimated you!"

Zandro said while wiping the blood near his lips. Making sure my injuries weren't overly pressed, I stood straight and looked at him.

"Heh..and you weren't as smart as I thought either."

"What?" He asked furrowing his brows.

"Did you not realize where we are currently?"

Sorry for the late update!
