Alessandro's POV;

As we reached the underground cell where the spy was held at, I saw that James had already got here before us.

I haven't been in this place for quite some time. The place was as dark as I remembered, reeking with the smell of blood.

There were dried blood on the cell walls, no surprise there, since each cell had a small torture chamber, which was accessible only to me and my trusted men. The prisoners in the cells wouldn't have any chance of accessing anything in there although it can be considered a part of each cell.

Coming face to face with the spy, I could understand why my men were having some problems with this guy.

He was already brutally beaten. The entire person was bloody and a little movement could easily open up his wounds. I wouldn't be surprised if the guy had a few broken ribs! Randy definitely did his work well.

But what really caught my attention was the mans determined eyes. There were no trace of giving in, and I was certain we won't be able to get anything from this guy. He was the type who'd rather die than be disloyal.

I smirked at the guy before turning around to leave. James and Roman followed, and I can see they had questions.

As we entered my office at the base, Roman could no longer keep his mouth shut.

"Boss! Why did you just leave like that? I thought you wanted to interrogate the guy?!"

James also looked towards me, clearly wanting to hear my answer.

"You guys have been trying to break him to no avail. Why do you think is that?" I asked them a question instead of giving an answer.

"The guy has a strong will?!" James answered, a bit unsure.

"He does. But the most important factor is that he is not one to be un-loyal. I can see it in his eyes. He is determined to die here." I let my fingers slowly tap the surface of my desk before continuing.

"Even if we are able to get anything out of him, it won't be anytime soon. So..why not use him to lure out the snake instead?"

"Boss..you mean, we are going to use the spy as bait? But will whatever side he came from really care that much about him?" Roman asked, giving a thought on my idea.

"He is not a normal member of whichever side he is from. Besides, I'm just playing a bet I'm unsure of winning. Doesn't that make it more thrilling tho?" I got out of my chair and made my way out of the office. "Right! Roman, let your brother continue torturing the spy. Just..don't let the guy die!"

"Ok, I'll let Randy know."

Just after Roman finished his sentence, James stopped me with a question of his own. "When do we execute the plan boss?"

I was really looking forward to know which mafia this spy came from. "Do it immediately. Let a word accidently slip out. Detain the spy in the cells of the north warehouse."

"The security there isn't low though. Will they really show up?"

"James..if security is too low, we'd easily give ourselves away, and as I said , this is nothing but a bet! We'll see when the time comes!"

For now I really want to know where Drea had abducted my little kitty to!
