CHAPTER 26: he really didn't give up!

Lexis POV;

It's been almost a week since Alessandro confessed to me. However, I haven't seen him ever since our last meeting at the café.

I was a bit disappointed really. I guess I was a bit hopeful that he would actually not give up.

Guess I overthought, huh.

I only noticed it was end of the lesson when students started storming out the door.

Damn! Was I in my own world all this time. I didn't hear a word throughout the lecture!

F**k you Alessandro, slash annoying ass mob boss!

I let out a dramatic sigh, before collecting all my stuff and running out the door.

Ok! I did not see this coming. I was currently standing in front of my college gates.

The situation you ask?! The whole gate was covered with red roses and white balloons. The students were all obviously at a loss.

I took in a deep breath and looked at the man standing in front of me, with a bundle of roses, how many are even in there!?

Alessandro moved towards me with the huge rose bundle and pushed it towards me, with lips upturned.

The place was pretty much packed right now, so I wasn't surprised by the loud shrieking from the girls!

I do have to say tho, this guy has a killer smile! Why am I suddenly glad he doesn't smile often?

"Are you not gonna take it? Do you not like roses perhaps?" I stopped my wandering thoughts when I heard his deep voice.

I looked at him to see him frowning, before turning around to glare at a guy behind him. One of his men maybe?

I couldn't help chuckling at him. "That's not so. I love roses. But, what exactly do you think your doing?" I took the gorgeous bouquet from him, while questioning him.

"What do you mean? Didn't I tell you I'm not going to give up!" He answered like I was dumb. He really did mean it huh!

I rolled my eyes at the guy, before elaborating. "Your not gonna do stuff like this every time we see each other right?"

"Why not?" I was flabbergasted at his answer. Dude! What do you mean why not!!

"No way you.." I was interrupted mid sentence as some lecturers came over. Oh, so lecturers finally noticed the commotion huh!

In the end, I was unable to complete my sentence as the lecturers ushered people back to their classes, and asked Alessandro to get rid of everything. Well..they weren't exactly as rude as I'm making it sound.

I could see that Alessandro was quite pissed at the teachers, but so far...he was actually holding it in quite well.

"Come with me." I dragged Alessandro and went out of the campus grounds.

"Look, you can't do stuff like that every time we meet. It was really pretty and all, but..well..it was a bit over the top."

"So you like when I do stuff like that." He smirked at me.

"Wait..what?!"

"Isn't that how it is? You said it was over the top, bit you didn't ask me to never do it again, and you said it was pretty."

I looked at Alessandro's smug face, and was at a loss for words!

Damn!!!
