I WAS READING THROUGH THIS AND NOTICED THAT A PART HAD BEEN CUT OUT SO I HAD TO RE WRITE.
Why do I always get inspiration for writing when I'm in dance???
A/N ANYWAYS I'M GONNA SAY IT RIGHT NOW I AM HELLA LAZY AND THAT IS WHY THERE HASN'T BEEN AN UPDATE... seriously, no joke this is all due to the fact that I can't gather up the energy to write a story.... I need to reevaluate my life choices..... CONTINUING UMMM SO ANYWAYS I'LL JUST GET ON WITH IT AND ENJOY :)

Dealing with a troubled ADHD diagnosed, dyslexic teenage step son is hard enough but throw in a godly parent to that mix and it takes it to a whole other level. When Sally first told me who Percy's real dad is I didn't say anything, instead I was racking my brain for the nearest mental facility, I mean come on? Greek gods? But now that I've seen him wield a sword with his own two hands it's more believable, doesn't mean it's any easier though...

"Can anyone tell me what the theory of variation is" I asked finishing writing the question on the board. Scanning the row of students before me I picked a girl in the front with red hair and freckles (A/N NO IT'S NOT NANCY)
"Riley?"

"It focuses on universal properties common to a given language," she answered

"You're quoting the text, give me an example,"

"Umm," she paused, "French, it's universally spoken but what's said in France may differ from what's said in Montreal."

"Correct," I wrote her answer on the board, "now I need you all to fish out that worksheet I gave you yesterday and continue with your rough copy of your essays-" I was cut off by a knock on the door.
"Remember they are due next week," I called as I opened the door, spotted Ms. Dunball the principle and stepped outside.

"What's the problem?" I asked.

"Oh, no problem, just a new student," she guess turned towards a girl whom I recognized immediately.

"Annabeth!" I exclaimed what are you doing here?"

"Well I see you two know each other so I'll leave you with it," Ns. Dunball then proceeded to walk off.
Annabeth shifted her backpack on her shoulders.

"I got here last night, Sally and I have been emailing lately and we decided to surprise Percy with a visit and he doesn't know yet so I'd appreciate it if you didn't tell him about this just yet."

"Absolutely," I nodded, "now let's go get you set up, I hope you like essays,"

_______TIME SKIP_________

It was the end of the day and I couldn't be happier I had almost let it slip in 5th period English to Percy that Annabeth was here thankfully Thomas Sanders decided to shoot a spit ball at another student causing a scuffle on the other side of the room that saved me from spilling.

"Hey Paul," Percy's voice came from the doorway.

"Hey," I responded shoving papers into my briefcase.

"Umm about English today, you were going to say something and then stopped what was it?"

I paused, "oh nothing important, in fact I don't even remember now," I lied

"Okay," he shrugged and the two if us walked towards my car in the teacher's parking lot.

As we walked through the front door I caught the aroma of cookies I knew Sally was baking again.

"Hey Paul, hey Percy," her voice called from the kitchen.

"Sup mom," Percy dumped his backpack at the front door and started to walk towards the kitchen when his figure froze mid-step. I smiled figuring out what had caused.

"Close your mouth Seaweed Brain, you'll catch flies," I heard her voice.

"Annabeth!" Her exclaimed, I walked in on Percy and Annabeth hugging very tightly, Annabeth laughing.

"Let me go Seaweed Brain, I can't breathe,"

"Never," he responded, "I'm never letting go, you're mine now,"

She pushed him off smiling.

"When did you get here?" He asked

"Last night," she plucked a cookie off of the plate on the table, I walked over to Sally and gave her a kiss.

"How come I didn't know she was coming," I whispered

"Well it was kinda last minute," Sally whispered back her eyes trained on her son. "I hope you're not mad,"

"I'm not mad, I'm just shocked, but I'm happy to see Percy so happy," and it was true, he seemed to have this new aura about him, his eyes seemed brighter, his smile bigger, and he couldn't stop staring at Annabeth either, this goofy grin on his face.
It was later that night when we decided to watch a movie (at which Annabeth smacked Percy's arm when he requested Finding Nemo.....again) that I smiled, Percy wasn't paying any attention to the screen instead he was staring down at Annabeth who had fallen asleep on his chest as he played with her hair. A glance over at Sally proved that her eyes were glued to the screen but there was still a smirk on her face. It wasn't much later till I glanced back over only to find both of them asleep, their limbs tangled together and their hands entwined.

"They're adorable," Sally whispered as she got out an extra blanket and laid it atop of them. I nodded, it was obvious my troubled little step son was head over heels in love.

A/N ALRIGHT I HOPE THAT ONE WAS OKAY, AGAIN I APOLOGIZE FOR NOT UPDATING FOR A WHILE AND EVERYTHING AND I'M GOING TO TRY BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW LONG IT'LL LAST ANYWAYS, OTHER THAN THAT.... BYE!!!!
