HEY GUYS I'M SORRY IT'S BEEN ANOTHER ONE OF THOSE REALLY LONG BREAKS WITHOUT AN EXPLANATION AND I'M SO SORRY BUT I'VE BEEN SUPER BUSY STUDYING AND FINISHING ACTIVITIES HOWEVER I HAVE OFFICIALLY FINISHED ALL OF MY FINAL EXAMS AND MY SCHOOL IS DONE!!! YAY!!!! SO NOW I CAN TRY AND GET BACK ON TRACK AND YEAH.
Also this chapter is dedicated to Mr_Moustache thank you for the prompt!!!!!!

"Your son's intellect is that of a trout's compared to my daughter's," I spat. Poseidon and I were having another one of our daily arguments. Even since that Jackson boy had saved Olympus Poseidon had been on his high horse bragging left and right, and the job to bring him back to reality was left to me.

"I'm sorry, who saved Olympus?" Poseidon retorted. I sighed and rolled my eyes. We were in the throne room, all 12 of us had gathered (even Hades) to discuss the destruction of our home.

"With help from MY daughter, face it Poseidon, Annabeth far outweighs your son Percy or whatever. She's smart, and calculating, she knows how to fight and strategize and she's top of every one of her classes in school."

"Well Athena." Poseidon spat. "In case you didn't remember my son controls over 71% of the Earth's surface!"

"What does that have to do with intellect?"

"Nothing, it has to do with him being awesomer than her."

"More awesome." I rolled my eyes.

"What?"

"Awesomer isn't a word Poseidon, it would be more awesome."

"Doesn't matter, you're the queen of smart stuff I don't need to know that."

I was about to open my mouth when Apollo burst out.
"Would both of you just shut up! God you two argue exactly like your children, except they can at least talk it out like actual adults and they're like...... I don't know, 0.000002% of your age."

"What are you talking about?" Poseidon asked.

"I'm saying that your children are more freaking mature than you are!!" Apollo threw his hands in the air and slumped back down in his seat.

Hephaestus sat up. "I have to agree with Apollo, you two fight like children."

"It's not my fault that everyone freaking loves her for some reason!" Poseidon called out.

"Oh still sore about the Athens thing huh? Well I would be too. If I had actually lost that is."

"Okay-"

"Enough!" Zeus roared. "We understand the feud that has been boiling between the two of you for years but now is not the time to indulge in it once more, we have bigger matters at hand."

"Like the reconstruction of Olympus." Artemis nodded.

"And all the statues that I'm gonna have." Ares added.

"And Percabeth's new relationship!" Aphrodite squealed.

"What?"

"Who?"

"What the hades is a percabeth??"

"You know.... Percabeth..." Aphrodite looked around the room uncertainty. "Like Percy and Annabeth... It's their ship name."

"Ship name?"

"What's a ship name?"

"Did Percy and Annabeth buy a boat?"

"No!" Aphrodite looked exasperated. "You know what I'll just show you, Hermes bring up channel 35 please."

Hermes switched on the power to Hephaestus T.V and tuned into the right channel.
I saw two figures walking through the woods, I recognized my daughters blonde curls right away.

"I just don't get why you're so nervous?" Annabeth spoke.

"Umm have you even met your mother, she's scary, plus she already hates me, who knows what she'll do. She might turn me into an olive tree for gods sake, and from what I've heard from Thalia it is not a fun experience being a tree." Jackson's wretched voice spoke up

Annabeth giggled, that was strange, giggling was such an unusual habit for my daughter, something was off.
"Seaweed Brain it'll be fine, besides I think it's me and your dad we have to worry about, who knows what strange creatures he'll send after me."

"My dad doesn't mind you, it's your mom he hates."
Poseidon shot me a glare at the comment.

"We just need to tell them, just go right up, say 'mom, dad, we're dating.' And then run as fast as we can before they have the chance to smite us." Annabeth smiled.

My mind was blank and Poseidon was staring at the screen in shock, his mouth hanging wide open. I glanced wildly around the room praying that this was some prank or something. There was no way my daughter would be dating the idiotic spawn of that scumbag.

"I thought you were supposed to be the best battle strategist this camp had." Percy grabbed both of Annabeth's hands and pulled them up to his chest. I almost gagged.

"I am," she stepped closer. Poseidon was getting paler every minute. I'm fairly certain my heart stopped and I stared in shock as that despicable boy grabbed my daughters face and pulled her lips up to his. I heard a squeal that was no doubt Aphrodite's and a few hollers and whoops that were sure to come from Ares and Hephaestus.

The two children broke apart and Annabeth smiled at him, a smile I rarely ever saw on her face.
She stood on the very tips of her toes and wraped her arms around his neck burying her face into his neck, his arms doing the same around her waist.

Aphrodite turned the T.V off. "See." She announced.
Poseidon and I didn't look at each other but I could tell we were relatively thinking the same thing.

That was the happiest we had seen our children in months, while I definitely needed to take a trip downtown tomorrow and talk with my daughter, she was happy, there was no denying it, and if she was happy, then I was happy. A lot of people believe godly parents don't really care for their children, that's a lie, we do care it's just that if we get involved too often, they get hurt, and sometimes it's better to see them sad for a while than dead forever. And who's knows sometimes we might even learn a few things from them.
