A/N WHAT UP EARLY MORNINGS BEFORE YOU GO TO SCHOOL!!! YEAH I'M SERIOUSLY SO TIRED RIGHT NOW, BUT I'LL STILL WRITE THE STORY BECAUSE YOU GUYS ARE TOTALLY AWESOME SO HERE YA GO.

"Am I not being obvious enough?" I sighed as down onto my bed.

Kylie, one of my friends from the Aphrodite cabin, laughed and sat down next to me. "Trust me, you're being pretty obvious, he's just really oblivious."

"Painfully oblivious," I muttered. All week I had been dropping hints towards Percy, I had even kissed him, yet somehow he just didn't seem to catch on.
"I mean everyone in this god damn camp, except him, knows, is it even possible to be this stupid!"

"Honey, you need to be patient," Julia smiled at me, holding a pair of hoops up to her ear.
"What do you think? Hoops or the silver studs?"

"Hoops," Kylie replied.
"And Julia's right, you just need to be patient with him."

"I have been patient," I mumbled. "For 3 years."

____ 1 WEEK LATER_____

"Another quest?" Percy complained.

"It's a short one," Chiron reassured us. "No prophecy, no side action, just a little errand for Hera."

"Is that all we're good for?" I asked. "Errands?"
The sky darkened and I rolled my eyes and the approaching clouds.
"Whatever, we'll take it," I sighed before going off to pack a bag.

___LE TIME SKIP AGAIN____

"Do we even know where this 'crown jewel' is?" Percy asked flopped down beside me on the bed in the hotel we were staying in.

I rolled my eyes. "Chiron said it's along the east coast."

"Yeah but still the east coast is fairly big it'll take forever!" He complained. I ignored him and continued to try and untangle my blonde mess of curls, even a shower hadn't helped, except in making it wet as well.

"Doesn't that hurt?" Percy winced as I forcefully pulled my hair apart.

"Little bit," I shrugged. "But you get used to it." I finished pulling apart the last knot and began to braid it as Percy stared at me.
"What?"

"I've just always wondered how you-" he trailed off miming the braiding motion.

"Well it's pretty easy, it's three pieces that you just put over one another," I explained. "Of course then there's; fishtail, French, Dutch, waterfall, etcetera."

"So you like..." Percy reached up and lightly played with a small piece of hair that had fallen loose. I suddenly realized how close his face was to mine and I think he did too as he paused and made a move like he was about to pull back but didn't.

"Percy?" I whispered and just as I was leaning in the door to the room burst open. Percy and I both scrambled backwards, Percy himself falling off the edge of the bed.

"I return with snacks!" Grover cheered as he walked in with bottles of coke, chocolate and granola bars, and multiple bags of chips. He paused when he saw me flattened against the head of the bed and Percy sprawled on the floor.
"You guys okay?"

"Yeah, yeah, we're fine," I responded a little breathlessly.

He just raised a brow. "Right."

_____TIME SKIP_____

I was standing on the tiny balcony off of our room, the cold wing whipped through my hair blowing it all around my face. I shivered and crossed my arms, even with three layers on I was still cold.

"Hey,"
I jumped as the balcony door opened behind me and Percy stepped out.

"Oh hey," I responded, trying to still the shivers that racked my body.

"You're cold aren't you?" He asked coming up to stand beside me.

"Little bit," I shivered again. Out of no where Percy put his arm around me and pulled me into his side. His body radiated heat and I couldn't help but bury my face into his hoodie that smelled so much like the sea.
When I looked up, the wind whipped his hair to the side making it look even messier than usual, his eyes now a dark green in the dark, he was even more handsome, if possible.

"Hey I'm sorry about what happened inside," Percy said still staring into the night. "It's must've been kinda.... Awkward for you."

"Oh um, uh," I stumbled over my words. "Yeah, well no, I mean it wasn't, well kinda-" I sighed and just stopped trying rebutting my face into his chest. I could feel the laughter in his body as he chuckled.

I looked up and caught him staring at me. I'm pretty sure my heart stopped as he leaned in and caught my lips in a kiss. I melted right into his chest, his arms came to wrap around my waist and mine came up to his neck. After a few minutes, I pulled back breathless, and Percy seemed pretty hard for air too.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have-" Percy started to pull away from me.

"No," I stopped him. "It- it was fine."

"Really?"

"Really," I nodded, before pulling him back down and kissing him again, even harder than before.

A/N SORRY IF THIS HAS SPELLING ERRORS, IT'S EARLY AND I DON'T REALLY FEEL LIKE SPELL CHECKING SO I'M JUST TRUSTING THAT NOTHING IS TOO BAD IN THIS. SO I HOPE THIS WAS OKAY AND BYE FOR NOW!!!!!
