(ALRIGHT IM BACK, AND IT'S FINALLY WINTER BREAK, ON TOP OF THAT CHRISTMAS, YAY!!!! ALRIGHT SO ANYWAYS MOVING ON WITH THE STORY, ENJOY)

Christmas at Camp Half-Blood is definitely different from your average celebration. I mean first there's the whole debate with Mr. D on wether or not we can have snow (thankfully he obliged this year) and then there's just the chaos of having around 50 demigods in one place all throwing snowballs or singing annoying Christmas carols (completely out of time might I add). That's why I usually spend most of my time inside the Athena cabin. So there I was quietly reading my book while a few of my other siblings worked on papers or played a board game when a cold gust of wind blew through the room making me shiver. In the doorway stood Percy, his jet black hair squished beneath a beanie, his nose and cheeks were bright pink and he had his hands in his pockets.

"Sup, Perce? Whadda ya need?" I lowered my book. "Annabeth's not here right now, she's in the big house at the moment."

"Actually I came to talk to you," he said coming to sit down beside me.

"Okay, what about?"

"Well you know Annabeth best right?" He started, I nodded, Annabeth and I were pretty close I had arrived a year after she had, so we'd kinda grown up together. "Well I need help," he finished.

"With what?" I asked.

"On what to get Annabeth?" He smiled sheepishly. I grinned, it was cute what he was doing.

"Well she'll definitely like something that means something to both of you, maybe something that reminds her of your quests or something that involves you two." He nodded attentively, I'd never seen him so focused before in my life.
"She also likes architecture so you know maybe something like that...." I trailed off.

"Right...." He bit his lip.

"Percy I'm not gonna lie, she loves you okay, anything you get her will mean a lot,"

"Okay, you know what I just got an idea, thanks Izzy!" He then jumped up and ran out the cabin door.

"Glad I could help," I muttered.

_________TIME LAPSE________
It was Christmas Eve and we were all in the middle of eating dinner, laughter filled the air, beside me Malcolm was digging into a giant chicken wing while Annabeth shook her head at him. I glanced over to the Poseidon table where Percy was sitting with Grover, it looked like her was playing with a box in his hands.

___ANOTHER TIME LAPSE___
Finally the camp fire, this was almost always my favourite part, today the flames burned high and a bright red colour as we all sang along to a bunch of cheesy carols. A few people began to exchange gifts, mostly between couples maybe a sibling or two, but I was only interested in one pair. Percy and Annabeth were sitting only a few feet to my right, her head was leaning on his shoulder, he seemed nervous.

"Annabeth?" He started tentatively.

"Yeah," she raised her head to look at him.

"Ummm, well, I...., Merry Christmas," he pushed a tiny box into her hands, she stared at him in shock.

"Percy, what is this?"

"Your Christmas gift, now open it," he instructed. I watched her lift the lid off and gasp, I could see the ring from where I was sitting, it was a simple silver band with a shining silver diamond in the centre dotted with sea green flecks.

"Percy, it's, it's....it's beautiful!" She exclaimed.

"You like it?"

"Like it? I love it " Percy's smile grew as she said it.

"Good," he said, "now it's not a wedding ring, not yet, but it's a promise ring, and I'm promising with this that I will always love you and nothing could change that not even your mother herself, because I love you Wise girl, I really do,"

"Oh Percy!" She flung her arms around him and he hugged her back, he raised his eyes to look at me and gave me a quick little thumbs up, I laughed and shook my head. He pulled back and rested his forehead on hers.

"Merry Christmas Annabeth,"

"Merry Christmas Percy,"
