A/N I AM HONESTLY SO MAD AT EVERYTHING RIGHT NOW BUT I'M NOT GOING TO BOTHER YOU GUYS WITH THAT, INSTEAD YOU CAN ALL GO AHEAD AND READ THE STORY BELOW.
(P.S this is like a side quest that they're on and percabeth isn't official here)

"Can't we just rest for one minute," Percy complained beside me.

"We're almost there," Grover replied.

"Almost where?" I asked.

All Grover replied with was. "A safe house."
I grimaced and continued forwards, we'd been attacked by monsters everywhere we went and we were in bad shape. I'm pretty sure I had sprained my ankle, Grover was limping too and Percy had a really nasty cut on his arm that wouldn't stop bleeding no matter how much ambrosia we fed him.

Now that I thought of it, I glanced over at Percy, he was holding his bad arm, his face was sickly pale.

"You okay?" My concern for him was growing at a rapid pace.
He just nodded, his lips pressed together tightly.

"Just a bit farther," Grover urged us on. I swallowed my fear and walked on.

____TIME SKIP______

Percy had passed out as soon as we entered through the front door. The house was a tiny beach cottage with paint peeling off the walls and dust everywhere.

"How did you know this place?" I asked as Grover and I stood over Percy's bed.

"It's an old safe house used by satyrs searching for pan, I'm surprised I even remember the location honestly." Grover wrapped a bandage around Percy's injured arm.

"Is he gonna be okay?"

"He will be, the only problem is I really don't want to risk moving him, it could worsen his injuries." Grover furrowed his brow.

"When can we move him?"

"2-3 days," he replied. I sighed in response.
"I know, but it's for the best really, plus we'll still have time to complete the quest."

"Alright, then I guess we're here for the next few days," I resigned to the idea.

"I guess I should go find some food." Grover stared out a nearby window.

"Grover it's getting dark out, plus you've just turned 16," I argued.

"No," he corrected. "You've just turned 16, I'm actually-"

"Okay you know what, I don't think I want to know, because if I'm traveling with a 43 year old man that just makes things really awkward." I cut him off.

He chuckled. "Alright, I'll be right back, just watch over him, but don't overdose on the nectar or ambrosia as it could kill him and remember, you'll have to change his bandages every hour or two and-"

"Just go!" I pointed him out the door.

"Okay, okay I'm going!" He held up his hands in surrender and walked out the door leaving me alone in the room with a sleeping Percy.

"Oh Seaweed Brain," I whispered as I sat down. "What'd you do to yourself?" I ran my fingers through his unruly mess of black hair, and smiled to myself as he started to drool.

_____TIME SKIP AGAIN____

I was sitting on the couch in the adjoining room, moonlight streamed through the glass doors, the only light coming from the T.V I had managed to hook up. The ocean broke against the shore in the distance and the thin walls didn't do too much to keep the cold out, I was bundled in at least 3 layers, one of which may have included Percy's hoodie.

"Annabeth?" I heard a whisper and lifted my head to see Percy leaning against the doorway, rubbing his eyes.

"Hey," I replied, sitting up.

"Where are we?" He asked.

"A safe house Grover knew of, you should still be sleeping though," I was concerned, his face still seemed sickly pale however that might've been because of the washed out lighting.

"I have a feeling I've been sleeping all day, I think I'm good," he walked into the room, glancing towards the T.V
"Really? National Geographic," he raised and eyebrow at me.

"Shut up," I defended. "It's a good one besides, cables not the best, there's only so many channels. It's either this or 15 and pregnant."

"National Geographic it is," he agreed, sitting down next to me on the couch.
"Hey where is Grover?"

"He left to get food, he'll be back," I assured him. Truth was, Grover had been gone for over an hour and I was starting to become concerned.

A few minutes later, I heard a faint chattering sound. I glanced over and saw Percy shivering, his lips gaining a bluish tinge. I immediate felt guilty.

"Here," I offered. "We'll share." I lifted the edge of the blanket I was using and he scooted closer. I suddenly became acutely aware of how close together we were, I could feel his body heat radiating off of him. I don't know what made me do it but I laid my head on his chest and my heart fluttered as I felt his arm go around me.

"This is nice," he whispered, I hummed in agreement.
"Is this my hoodie?" He asked.

"Maybe..." I replied

He chuckled. "Don't worry, you can keep it, you look cute in it."
I was glad that my head was still on his chest so he couldn't see the obvious blush spreading over my face.

After a few minutes of watching T.V I couldn't help myself anymore. The steady beat of Percy's heart, the warmth of blanket and the background noise of the T.V and the ocean. I could feel myself drifting off. I was vaguely aware of Percy's hands playing with my hair, his fingers brushing along my cheeks. I thought I caught him whisper something else that sounded along the lines of.

"You're too cute Wise Girl, you're just too cute," before I drifted off to sleep.
