"Hey Perce, we still coming over to your house?" I asked as I closed my locker.

"Yeah, still on," Percy replied. Percy was one of my best friends at Goode, he was a great guy too, he was funny and nice and had a way of getting girls everywhere to stare at him.

"Good, because your mom make THE best cookies ever!" Jacob spoke as he, Addie, Dylan, and Juliet walked over.

"I get the feeling the only reason you ever come over is for my moms cookies," Percy laughed.

"Hey man, you're a great friend, but like.... The cookies," Jacob said. Addie hit him on the arm,

"Idiot," Addie grumbled, it was obvious that she liked him and Jacob had confided in me not too long ago that he also had a crush on her, we needed to get them together.

"Come on, we have to hurry otherwise Paul will beat us home and eat them all," Percy shouldered his backpack and we all walked out the school doors.

______LE TIME SKIP______

We walked into Percy's apartment, I closed the front door behind me breathing in the aroma of fresh baked cookies.

"I smell cookies," Jacob dumped his backpack on the ground and rushed towards the kitchen. We all laughed and followed suit.
I was right behind Percy when he stopped abruptly causing me to crash into him and Juliet to crash into me and so forth.

"What man?" I peered over his shoulder and honestly I wasn't surprised he had stopped. Sitting at the table (besides Jacob who was stuffing his face) was the hottest girl I have ever seen. She had long curly blonde hair and bright grey eyes, she was super tanned and pretty athletic looking too, she was every guys dream.

"Sup Seaweed Brain," she greeted, looking I momentarily before going back to her book.

"A-Annabeth?" Percy stuttered. I couldn't blame the poor guy, I mean who even was this hottie?

"Yeah, she just flew in, her parents are considering moving back if her dad gets a promotion," Sally spoke while she pulled another batch of cookies out of the oven.

"Mhmm," Annabeth nodded as she turned the page, she then placed a bookmark in it, closed the book and stood up and walked over to Percy giving him a tight hug, which he awkwardly returned.
"You gonna introduce me or...."

"Oh, oh right," Percy seemed to come out of his daze. "Well this is Ian, Addie, Dylan, Juilet, and that idiot over there is Jacob," Percy introduced. We all said hi, Jacob just waved a chocolate covered hand in greeting.

"I'll just finish up here, you guys go watch a movie or something," Sally waved us off

_____ANOTHER TIME SKIP_____

Watching Percy and Annabeth interact was definitely the highlight of the day. It didn't take me long to figure out his feelings for her, he was kinda obvious about it.
I mean while doing homework she leaned over to help him, pointing out something on his paper, while he watched her with a smile on his face.
Eating dinner they wouldn't stop elbowing and teasing each other.
And my favourite was watching the movie. We all took the other seats leaving an open space next to Percy for her, of course Annabeth seemed totally comfortable, she sat right down and leaned her head on his shoulder like they'd been doing it forever. Percy on the other hand was completely tensed up, he calmed down 15 minutes into the movie but the constant glancing down and her and smiling never ceased.

"So Percy, how exactly do you know Annabeth?" I asked as I laid out my sleeping bag, it was just Jacob, Dylan Percy and I spending the night, the girls weren't allowed for multiple reasons.
