This is in Percy's POV too, I just didn't want to name another one Percy it ends up being confusing.

All the seven have been at camp for a long time and have grown up as friends but none of the HOO stuff has happened and percabeth isn't official yet.

It was a rainy day at camp half blood and if you weren't on border patrol you, were holed up in your cabin playing some board game or working on extra credit summer assignments.
The crew was currently hanging out in my cabin and debating on how to pass the time.

"Truth or dare," Jason offered.

"You mean 'tell me who you like or do something ridiculously dangerous'?" Hazel asked.

"Monopoly?" Nico suggested.

"We won't get out of here till February." Frank commented.

"Oh what about spin the bottle?" Katie raised her eyebrows, with a pointed glance towards Travis.

"I highly doubt Percy just has a bottle lying about in his cabin," Annabeth rolled her eyes. "Well I would hope not." She added with a slide glance at me.
I lightly elbowed her which she returned with much more force.

"Well what about 7 minutes in heaven?"

"Yeah let's do that." Grover agreed, everyone nodded. Easy for them Jason and Piper were already a couple same with Grover and Juniper and Hazel and Frank had already been on a couple dates, meanwhile I couldn't even look Annabeth in the eyes without feeling insane butterflies in my stomach.

"Alright, Percy do you have two hats?" Piper took two baseball caps from the stand I pointed and began to write down names for the girl and boy hats.

"I'll bet you 50 drachmas Katie is dying to go in there with Travis." Annabeth leaned over and whispered in my ear.

I blushed from how close her face was to mine but whispered back. "You're just figuring this out now? You know for someone so smart, you really aren't that quick."

"Shut up," she laughed and pushed my elbow.

"Alright, who wants first draw?" Piper turned with the hats.

"Boys first." Juniper cried.

"Alright, Frank you choose." Piper extended the basket with the girls names towards Frank who fumbled around before pulling a name.

"Hazel." He muttered as his cheeks flushed bright red. Hazel blushing just a bright stood up and followed the big guy into the closet.

"And remember you have 7 minutes to do whatever you want." Piper called out, the door shut and Piper turned around.
"Who has a timer?"

"I'm counting," Annabeth nodded.

"Are you sure?" I asked, "what if you lose track of time?"

"Won't happen," she said smugly.

"Not even if I distract you?" I poked her and she squirmed. "Are you still counting? Still counting? Still counting?"

"Stop!" She gasped, wriggling out of my grip, "and we're at a minute forty-five"

"Save it for the closet you two." Katie giggled as both Annabeth and I flushed.

The game passed through a few more rounds before the hat came to me. I swallowed and felt around, not too sure what I was hoping for. I pulled out the slip and had a vague sense this game was rigged as I read the name.

"Ummm.... Annabeth?" I muttered. Annabeth's check started to turn red and she wouldn't meet my eyes.

"Well off you go you two," Piper ordered us off towards the closet and closed the door behind us.

"You know the rules say we're allowed to do anything so in reality we could actually just do nothing." Annabeth shrugged, she still wouldn't meet my eyes, she just scanned the surroundings.
Small closet, not much personal space but just enough to make it awkward.

Yeah, I mean technically," I shrugged.
"Time?" I asked.

"One minute fifty," she was still surveying the closet walls.

"Seems to pass a whole lot quicker out there."

"Yup."

We stood in awkward silence until Annabeth ran out of closet to look at and turned towards me.

I don't think I was knowingly doing so but I started to lean forwards.

"Percy?" She whispered, our faces were now precariously close and I could see the individual flecks of black and white in her eyes.

"Yeah?" I whispered back.

"Kiss me." She ordered, and she didn't have to say it twice.

I grabbed her face and planted her lips on mine, I'd never kissed, well anyone really, before and as far as kisses go I couldn't compare it to any others but I thought it was pretty awesome. Her arms came up around my neck and mine wrapped around her waist pulling her closer to me. She moved her mouth to the side of my jaw and began to plant short little kisses there. I closed my eyes, taking in the entire moment. The feeling of Annabeth's lips and how tiny her waist was in-between my arms and the smell of lemons and wildflower she always seemed to carry with her.

"Annabeth," I breathed out.

"Hmm?" She pulled back, her breath uneven.

"I really like you, you know."

"Funny, because I really like you too." She smiled.

I leaned back down to continue the kiss and stopped an inch away from her lips.

"Are you still counting?"

"5 minutes, thirty seven."
