Seungmin's POV
"Seungmin, go down as soon as you changed your clothes" Mom said and prepared the dinner table
I nodded and went upstairs to my room. I locked the door and changed my clothes as fast as I can. I lied down on my bed.
How come Felix and Changbin are together earlier? What the hell is happening? I also saw Chan and Jisung talking. Am I the only one who doesn't know what is happening? Are they all good now? Where is Hyunjin? Why is Jeongin not there earlier? Minho is not yet talking to them.
My phone received a message from unknown number..
From : Unknown number
I know what you did, Kim Seungmin.
What? Me? What did I do? Who the hell sent me this message?
To : Unknown number
What did I do? Tell me.
From : Unknown number
How come you forgot? Don't you feel any conscience?
I dropped my phone as I remembered what she was talking about. I wore my coat and ran downstairs. I saw Mom and Dad confused looking at me.
"Dad, may I borrow your car?"
He nodded slowly "You can"
I took the keys and left the house. I started driving to the police station where everything was kept at that time. I hope they didn't released anything that night.
Mom calling...
"Mom"
[What is happening? Why are you in a rush?]
"Mom, I am driving-"
[No! Tell us what is happening. You are making us worried! You kept acting really weird ever since she died!]
"Mom-"
[You better go home and tell us everything]
She ended the call. How the hell am I going to tell them? Even I, I am scared to reveal it. I am scared that they will blame me for what happened. I just did what I think is right. Why the hell is this happening to me?
I parked the car in front of the police station and went inside. I saw a lot of police taking care of some cases right now.
"What can I do for you?" a police asked
I vowed "I am Kim Seungmin. I am friends with Yoon Zatie. I just want to ask something about what happened two years ago"
He nodded "What is it?"
"May I know if you guys released the evidences that night?"
"Let me check" he said and left me
I sat on the chair as I watched everyone doing their own thing. Who the hell would collect the evidences two years ago?
"Seungmin?" Hyunjin called
"Why are you here?"
"I am the one who is supposed to ask. Why are you here?" he eyed me
"J-Just asking something"
"About?" Hyunjin
How am I supposed to tell him?
"Kim Seungmin" the police called while carrying a paper "The evidences were all collected but the phone was collected by Mr. Hwang"
"Hwang?"
"I have Zatie's phone" Hyunjin said
Damn. He can't see those.
"Her phone was released two weeks ago. There's a girl who took the phone before Hyunjin did. She signed up but her name was removed. We don't know how that happened but it was fast" police officer
"That means someone already saw this phone before me?" Hyunjin asked
"Yes, I know it's confidential but she said she is related to Yoon Zatie" police
Hyunjin's eyed widened "Is her name perhaps Yoon Avery?"
"I don't remember anything. The asisgned police that night is out. He will be here tomorrow" police
"Thank you so much"
He smiled and went back to his table.
Hyunjin quickly opened the phone "That person removed everything in here, not even a single photo or message was left"
"T-Then, that girl was trying to remove any evidences that night?"
Hyunjin nodded and looked at me "I'll see you tomorrow at school. I'll try to back up the data" he said and quickly left the police station
I'm sure the person who removed the data wasn't Hyunjin. Who the hell did that? What is her reasons? Who is Yoon Avery? How did Hyunjin knew about that Avery girl?
I got out of the police station and saw a girl leaning on my car. She is relaxing while smirking at me.
"Don't lean on my car"
"Shut up. You will need me and my help for sure. You will thank me for what I did" she smiled and got in my car
I got in my car as well and saw her typing something on her laptop "Can you stop beating around the bush and tell me?"
She looked at me "Aren't you Kim Seungmin?"
"So, what?"
"I am Jiyoung, I am studying in the same University as you, major in computer science" she said and continued typing on her laptop "I guess my text message gave you signs to go here? Why?"
"That's you?"
"Who else would it be? Wasn't that the number you used that night? You didn't changed it? Why?" Jiyoung
"What else do you know?"
"I know everything. I already did my part, I removed all the data in Zatie's phone" Jiyoung
"You did that? You were the girl who took the phone before Hyunjin did?"
Jiyoung nodded "But don't worry. I got a copy for you. I didn't permanently deleted everything"
"What do you mean?"
"What happened to Zatie was a mystery. I know Minho's family never wanted to release all the evidences because he will be blamed by your friends" Jiyoung
"Stop playing with me"
"I also know one thing" Jiyoung
"What?"
She smirked "Aren't you the one who's texting Zatie about Minho that night?"
