She quickly drags her luggage to the gate where she was supposed to depart from when she heard his voice.

"You need to check in before you go inside". Waqas said startling her, "Why do you look like you have seen a ghost?".

She gained her senses back enough, "You are no less".

"Excuse me?". Waqas said raising his eyebrows, "I am more handsome than a ghost".

"That's what you believe". She hissed dragging her luggage again when he took it from her hand taking it to the check-in

She stands on the side looking at him as she speaks to the people who were taking in her luggage and the aura he has now is rather powerful at least back in high school he was a little reserved but not this scary. She wasn't scared of him or maybe she is scared of him in other ways not just the same as other people.

She heads towards the cafe ordering her drink because her headache was killing her now. She should have had breakfast at home when her mother asked her to.

She turns around to find Marcus right behind her making her stiffen.

"You just ignored me back then". Marcus said fake sad, "I was a little hurt. We have a long history".

Waqas turns around to find her but she was nowhere in sight so he went to one place he knows she will be in. He enters inside her favourite cafe frowning when he found her standing with a foreign man and her face looks pale.

He looks at her hand shaking as she tries to maintain herself which made him more confused. He would have thought at first that he was someone she knows with the look in her eyes but the more he sees the more he realised it wasn't the case.

"Hey, baby". He said smiling as he went towards her as her eyes widen in shock, "You ordered my drink already?".

He took her drink out of her hand drinking it cringing at the sweet taste of it.

"Thank you". He said softly even shocking himself

Why in the world is he doing this?. This is embarrassing.

He would have drowned himself in a lake if that was possible right now. He kept a stone face as his eyes meet the man who was observing him.

"Shall we?". He asked her ignoring Marcus presence all together

She immediately nodded because she was looking for an escape anyways as she exits the cafe almost running to the gate without caring about him following behind or not. She enters inside the waiting area realising a sigh as she knows she is far away from that man.

"Your coffee is disgusting". He commented sitting beside her watching her tensed face, "It looks like you are drinking milk with sugar. You are already crazy to imagine being high on sugar".

She didn't say anything as her mind is still processing everything that had happened. What was that man doing here?. Was he looking for her?. What will she do now?".

Questions after questions flooded her mind and she wished that she never agreed to come on this trip at all. If it wasn't for Zaheer requesting to stay back to watch over Zohra she would have declined.

"Are you listening?". He said and she opens her eyes looking at him confused, "I asked if you have all the files?".

"I have them all in my luggage and the electronic ones are in my iPad. Do you want to see?". She asked taking her iPad out

He was glad somewhere inside that she replied because he had been talking to her and doing all the wired stuff that would usually piss her off but she didn't react to any of them.
