I published a chapter before this a few hours before. Make sure you all read that. This is the last chapter :(.

Rejection is not the end of life.
Rejection is part of our lives. It should be something very common, especially in proposals.
Somehow, the fact that a person just cannot reject someone and that it is shameful for both parties is wrong. It's not about not valuing someone. It could be the fact that the other person is not ready.
That was at least the case for Zahoor.
Her life was always rushing and running. Every decision she ever made needed to be done in a fixed time. She was always on a fast track train that never stopped.
Not until her father went away.
She realized the things she run after all this time weren't all that. Yes, they mattered. But somehow in her path and the need to do more she never stopped to think about what she actually had.
She always focuses on her mother and everyone's behaviour. She always let her anger take the best of her. She always watches in the wrong direction. And most importantly, in her career, she never stopped to be thankful for what she become so far. She always wanted more and more.
The thing about worldly pleasure is that it never ends. We have one thing and we want another the next day. That's how we get blind. We may not realise it. But everyone is the same. A little more money, house, land, jewellery and whatnot. Just a little more than what we have is the greed we continue to feed at any cost.
Her rejection wasn't because she was being ignorant, idiot and selfish. It was because she wasn't mentally ready to allow someone to share her. To allow someone to have her.
She knows how everyone pressured her that this was the best of this world. That Aloom was the perfect match for her. She agrees, of course. She feels something too. That doesn't mean she wants to start a relationship. Feelings and relationships are different things.
Even when marriage is everything it is done logically. On papers that stay every single thing that's needed. Feelings are not exactly the part of the contract that's signed.
For the most part, she didn't even know what is in that contract. She needed time to arrange her thoughts. To know what she needs, who she is and how will she work it all. She knows she could have discussed with him. But, she needed to put her thoughts, emotions and understanding first and then ask him.
Sometimes, what we feel is what we can't say even in a perfect relationship. Because society modelled us in the end. You slowly forget about yourself and your needs. You forget to ask one simple thing and in the future, you forget everything about yourself. You will know how to make someone happy, pleased and excited but you won't know what to do with yourself.
She just lost her father. Even when she embraces life doesn't mean the effects just vanish. She lost all of her family. The scar doesn't just heal magically. She needs time. She needs her time to reflect and know.
Rejection is not a bad thing.
He knows for a fact. Everyone told him how wrong she was to reject him. How he should be angry and avenge his pride.
He won't.
His pride is nothing but an illusion. Her rejection doesn't mean that she is lower in standards or he is lower than her. When Lord hand the permission in her hand who is he to force himself on her?
He knows how much it must be for her. He understands her brain processing and he knows that if he truly wishes for something, he can pray and the end is in his Lord's hands. What's best will come his way anyhow.
