Chapter 5

Caroline's POV
Klaus holds me by my waist while I look deeply into his blue eyes. He begins to lead me more into the center of the dance floor while we dance.

"I'm really glad you decided to be my date tonight." Klaus says to me.

"Well I couldn't give up the opportunity to get my college tuition payed off." I admit to him. Klaus gives me a smirk.

"Honestly I'm grateful." He says to me with a little more serious tone.

"You're welcome Mr. Mikaelson." I say to him.

"Caroline don't call me Mr. Mikaelson here. We are not at work. Call me Klaus." He tells me and I nod. Klaus starts to spin me at a certain point of the song and as I spin around, I landed into another pair of arms. I'm guessing we are partner switching.

"Hello Darling." Kol says to me. He has a big smirk on his face. I smile nervously. "I didn't expect to see you here tonight." He says.

"I came here as a favor to a friend." I admit to Kol.

"Just a friend. Not a boyfriend or anything?" Kol asked me as we dance together still.

"No boyfriend just a friend." I say to him.

"A beautiful girl as yourself without a boyfriend is kind of hard to believe." Kol says to me. He is such a flirt but he is very nice to me.

Kol is rather handsome and finding out that he is related to Klaus just makes him even more hot. So far I met three of the Mikaelson's and they are exceptionally good looking. It's crazy to see that.

"I'm a busy women. I don't really have time for relationships." I admit to him.

"I see." Kol says and he beings to dip me until I am force to look deeply into his dark brown eyes. His eyes are so kind and in dearing "Thank you for the lovely dance Caroline." Kol says and he starts to lift me back up.

Kol pick up my hand and places a kiss on it as he begins to leave.

"I see you met my younger brother Kol." Klaus says startling me from behind. "Quite the womanizer I'll say." Klaus admits.

"He's a bit of a flirt but all men seem to share the same thing." I say to Klaus.

"My brother has broken many hearts before. His name only speaks for himself. Just be careful around him." Klaus warns me.

"You don't have to worry. I'm not like most women. I'm not easily manipulated." I state to Klaus.

"Don't get too cocky Ms. Forbes. Us Mikaelson's are capable of a lot of things." Klaus whispers in my ear as he wraps his arms around my back, sending shivers down my spine again. I try to regain my composure.

There he goes again with his seductive words.

The Gala has ended and I am feeling all tapped out. Klaus has called back his limo to take me back to my apartment complex.

"I had a really good time tonight." I say to Klaus.

"Same here. Tonight was a success." Klaus says and it's silent again.

"I'm guessing after tonight you want your dress back." I say to Klaus.

"Actually you can keep it Caroline. It looks better on you. This dress was made for you and your body. Thank you for being my date once again." Klaus says again and I smile.

As the limo pulls up to my apartment complex Klaus helps me out of the car like a gentleman would.

"Goodnight sir....I mean Klaus." I stutter to Klaus.

"Goodnight Caroline." He says and Klaus leans in to give me a kiss on the cheek. For some reason I blush at his affection.

Klaus heads back into the limo while I head back into my apartment. I had to admit that tonight was a pretty amazing night.
