Caroline's POV
"Caroline I'm sorry." Klaus says to me as he approaches me at the champagne table.

"For?" I inquired.

"For a acting like a child about Tyler. I should of just trust you." Klaus admits.

"I don't like the guy neither but I think he's harmless. He's just trying to get under your skin and you always let him." I say to Klaus.

"I know that now and I will do better to control myself around him." Klaus promises.

"Good." I say to him. "When are we leaving?" I asked Klaus.

"After the big announcement. It should be starting any moment now." Klaus tells me and I nod. Eventually we hear a loud ringing noise from a microphone. Klaus and I head back to where everyone is and we see the Mayor himself onstage.

"Hello everybody, thank you all for coming to this party tonight. It really is a pleasure being able to see all of you that came and I couldn't be happier. I also couldn't be happier for my son Tyler and his wonderful girlfriend Hayley. With his massive donation at his charity event, he was able to get 15 kids a home to go to and get them well treated. I couldn't be more proud. It always feel nice to give to people who need help. It makes us happy to know that we are helping them as much as we can. I hope this inspires people to do the right thing." The Mayor says. He's speech is very well said.

"But I have another special announcement to make. I want to say that I have met the most caring most selfless women I have ever met. I would like you all to meet my girlfriend Aurora." The Mayor says and my eyes go wide.

I can't believe it. I look at Klaus and his expression is the same as mine. I look back on stage to see the red head women herself. She comes up to the Mayor and she's gives him a peck on the lips. This is very shocking. Everyone is clapping and cheering for the Mayor and his new girlfriend.

"Thank you all for all the love that you are giving us. I have to say that I have never been more happy in my entire life. Charles is such a great man and I'm so happy to be with him." Aurora says. Is she serious?

"There is also one more thing, I want to announce tonight." The Mayor says and he starts to get down on one knees onstage. "Aurora would you do me the honor and marry me and be my wife?" He asked her.

"Yes." She says and you can see her tears falling out of her eyes as she accepts it and he pulls out a big diamond ring and slides it into her finger. The mayor finally stand back up and kiss his new fiancé.

I turn to Klaus's face and he looks pissed. I don't think I ever seen him this mad before. I don't know if he's mad to see his ex wife getting proposed in front of him or he is mad to see her in general.

"We are leaving now." I finally hear Klaus say and he drags me as we rush our way through the crowd. I'm not surprised that Klaus wants to leave. This is a lot for him to take in. I'm still process this myself.

Klaus and I left the party and we made it back home. Klaus hasn't said a word the whole time while we were in the limo. He just sat there angry while he shakes his leg the whole time. He stromed out of the limo and I follow him like some loss puppy.

I don even know what to say or do to calm him down. There is simply nothing that I could say. I feel like he has every right to be angry. He literally watch the women that threatened to take everything from him, getting proposed right in front of him.

"The Mayor is not your enemy Klaus, it's Tyler that's your problem." I say to him.

"It's all the same! I hate all the Lockwoods." He says to me.

"What are you going to do? Just stand there and be mad about it? It happened and there is nothing that you can do about it." I say to Klaus. It's the truth. There is nothing he can do. All he has to do is expect it and move on.

Klaus turns around and walks up closer to me as he looks me dead in the eyes. I don't take my eyes from him neither.

"Take your panties off." He demands.

"What?" I questioned him.

"I said take your panties off." He demands me again. I'm not sure why he wants me to do it but I don't argue back or questioned him. I lift up my dress and take off my panties and slide them off me.
