Chapter 43

Caroline's POV
"Okay so the key to horse back riding is holding on as tight as you can. This is very important because you don't, you will fall and possibly hurt yourself." Klaus says to me and I nod.

"Does this helmet thing make me look weird?" I asked Klaus. I'm pretty self conscious about how I look because I didn't even look in the mirror to see how this helmet would look like.

"You look fine Love." Klaus says as he chuckles a bit.

"Are you sure?" I questioned him.

"You look beautiful with your helmet on."'Klaus says. "Now hold on to his. This helps you have control over the horse." Klaus says as I hold on to the horses halter. "Okay you got it?" Klaus asked me and I nod.

Klaus hops on another horse rather easy and quickly. I had a hard time getting on the horse but thanks to Klaus, it didn't take as long as I thought. The horse is so beautiful and soft but the back of it is pretty hard.

"We will start slow. So hold this and pull." Klaus tells me to and I do exactly as he says. My horse starts to move a bit and it's going pretty slow. I start to get really happy that it's moving.

"I'm moving!" I shout at him and I see Klaus moving the same pace as me on his horse.

"It's nice huh?" He asked me.

"Super nice. I can't believe I'm horse back riding." I say to Klaus so enthusiastic. This is literally the best thing ever.

"Soon you'll be able to horse ride like that." Klaus points at another direction and I turn to see someone on a horse and they are going so fast.

"Can you ride like that?" I asked Klaus.

"I can." He says.

"Than why aren't you riding like that person over there?" I questioned him.

"Because I rather stay here and horse back ride with you." He admits and I sort of turn my head a little so Klaus doesn't see me blush.

"Thank you for this Klaus." I say to him.

"No problem love." He says and I give him a smile.

Klaus and I are finish horse backing riding and honestly it was the best experience ever. I would definitely come back and do this again. We spent most of our time here and it's literally almost the end of the day.

"This was so much fun. I would definitely come back here." I say to Klaus as I take off my hamlet.

"I would gladly take you." Klaus says and I smile. I see Klaus looking at his watch and he has a look on his face that I can't comprehend.

"What's wrong?" I asked Klaus.

"I've been thinking about the invitation that Tyler gave me. I'm still not sure if I want to go." Klaus says.

"It's up to you to decide." I say to him. By how the invitation sounds, it seems like they are expecting Klaus to be there. All the riches people in town will show up. So it's kind of a big deal for the riches man in all of New Orleans to show up as well.

"I've decided......that I will attend. Will you accompany me as my date love?" Klaus asked me.

"I would be more than happy to." I say to Klaus as I see a smile on his face and I smile back.

"Than we should probably get going. The party starts at 9:00pm." Klaus says.

"Alright." I say and Klaus and I walk back into his car and drive out of the farm.

After a long drive back to Klaus Mansion, we only have 2 hours to get ready to go to the party that Tyler invited us to.

We have enough time to get ready but it's a bit short notice. Klaus also had to cancel our dinner plan tonight because of it. I was really looking forward to spending more alone time with Klaus today but I guess a party is fine.

Horse back riding was the highlight of today and it's something that can never get replaced. Klaus promised to take me back someday and I can't wait.
