Chapter 34

Caroline's POV
Me and Klaus finished our shower and honestly it was really good. Even though there were times I wanted to leave but he wanted me to stay and just make out with him.

I sit myself on the bed and turn on the TV to watch the news on what's going on. I haven't seen it in awhile.

"Hey turn that up please." Klaus says coming out of the closet and I turn up the volume.

"Tyler Lockwood made a massive donation at a children's hospital this afternoon. The Mayer of New Orleans and Tyler's girlfriend Hayley was also there to help out with the children at the hospital. I would love to say that Tyler Lockwood has become one of the most generous and kind hearted person in all of New Orleans." The news lady says.

"FUCK!" I hear Klaus yell as he throws a glass painting across the room, startling me by his action. "Clearly they didn't notice my donation at the hospital yesterday." Klaus says as he places his hand on his forehead. I don't know what to do right now about this situation. "The fucking Lockwoods always have to show me up. Every time I give they always want to give more than me." Klaus complains.

"Klaus it's okay. You donated a lot of yesterday and no one can take that away from you. You're a good person." I say as I try to calm him down. "Come here." I say to him and Klaus looks up at me and I signal him to come closer to me.

A grab a hold of Klaus's arm as I pull him in for a hug. After everything that just happened, Klaus needs a hug. He needs to know that people care about him and see how hard working he is. I just need to remind him of that.

I maybe his fake girlfriend but I consider Klaus a friend and right now, he needs one.

It's the next day and it's work day, I woke up from my alarm and I went to see if Klaus was still asleep but he wasn't beside me on the bed. He must have decided to get ready early.

I took a shower, got myself ready for work, and now I am heading downstairs to see if Klaus is around. I walk into the kitchen and the only person I see in there is Trish.

"Good Morning Trish." I say to her.

"Good Morning Caroline. Breakfast is ready." She says as she places a plate on the table.

"Where is Klaus? Have you seen him?" I questioned her.

"He was here a moment ago. He got a phone call and it seemed important so he went to another area around the house." Trish explains and I nod.

"Thank you, I'll just talk to him when I see him." I say to her and I walk up to the table to eat breakfast that Trish prepared. I also see Klaus's plate ready right next to mine.

"Sorry, I had a very important phone call." Klaus says returning to the kitchen. "Oh good morning Love." Klaus says as he comes up to give me a kiss on the forehead.

"Morning. Was it a call from work?" I asked him.

"Actually, it was from Stefan. He renewed our contract and he is going to fax it over to me when I get to work." Klaus says in a low voice so Trish doesn't here us.

"Oh that's great." I say to him. I'm not that happy right now, considering that Klaus didn't have a great night last night. He seems fine now but I'm still worried about him.

"So you're ready to go?" Klaus asked me.

"Uh yeah. I'm ready." I say to him.

"Alright let's go. The limo is outside waiting." He says and I stand up from the table.

"Thank you Trish for the breakfast." I say to her.

"No problem. Have a great day at work you guys." She says and me and Klaus walk out of the kitchen together.

I observe Klaus as he takes my hand and we walk together. He seems normal, like everything is fine like nothing happened. Last night he was pissed and now he's back to normal. I wonder what happened.
