Caroline's POV
Klaus and I made it to work on time and this is the first time I made it to work without riding in a taxi which is kind of nice to be honest. Klaus helps me out of the limo and as soon as I step out I see a bunch of cameras flashing on us.
Seriously, paparazzi.
"Klaus Mikaelson, we want to know the truth. Are you guys dating?" A lady with a microphone asked us. Klaus looks at me and I nod in approval.
"Yes me and Caroline are together. We are not a fling, she is my girlfriend." Klaus says to them and all of the cameras start to flash on us again.
"Sorry just one last question. Caroline how does it feel to be dating the riches man in New Orleans?" The lady with the microphone asked me.
"It feels great. Klaus is a very good person. I just love being around him." I tell the lady with the microphone. I grab ahold of Klaus arm and come even closer to him then normal.
"Alright no more questions." Klaus says and he tries to push all the camera people out of the way so we can go into the building. We still hear people calling us to come back but we don't listen. I still have my arms around Klaus as he still guides me to the building.
As soon as we reach the front entrance I look back to see the bodyguard's blocking the door so they don't get inside of here.
"Are you okay?" Klaus asked me and I turn to him
"Yes I'm fine." I say to him.
"Are you sure?" He asked me again.
"Klaus I'm fine. It was a bit overwhelming but I am fine." I say to him I reach up to kiss Klaus on the cheek as I hold his face with one of my hands.
"Um Mr. Mikaelson, They are waiting for you in the meeting." Elena says to him.
"Shit, right. Caroline I'll see you later. Elena thank you." Klaus says to me and he give me a kiss on the cheek before he leaves.
"So... you ready to go? Klaus told me that I should take you to see Salvatore industries." Elena says to me.
"Uh yeah, I'm ready to go." I say to her and Elena and I begin to walk out the front door again.
I'm glad that the paparazzi is gone and the limo is still there waiting for us like Klaus said.
"Well this is going to be an awkward trip." Elena blurts out to me.
"How come?" I asked her.
"Let's just say I had some history with the Salvatore's" Elena says.
"Like what? You dated one of them?" I asked Elena.
"Yes, I did date Stefan Salvatore a few years back when I first started working for Klaus. We had a pretty good relationship but we started to get attracted to other people. I fell for Elijah and Stefan fell for someone else. Now it's just awkward between us." Elena admits. "But it's fine. We are totally cool it's just weird, you know?" Elena asked and I nod.
"So who is Stefan Salvatore dating now?" I asked Elena.
"You seriously don't know?" Elena asked me surprised and I shake my head. "He's dating the famous fashion designer. Rebekah Mikaelson." Elena admits and I look at her with wide eyes.
"Really? I thought she was like married or something." I say to Elena.
"Dating yes but married no. Rebekah and Stefan started dating 2 years ago." Elena explains.
"Rebekah is Klaus's sister right?" I asked again.
"Yeah, she's the youngest but she's more mature than Kol to say the least." Elena says to me.
"Wow it's like the Mikaelson's are famous for their own foundation." I say to Elena.
"Yeah. Elijah is a businessman for housing and Klaus is like tax and transcripts. Also Klaus sponsors the Mikaelson's name a lot to products so he can get more money. Kol well he is like a worker like you but he is kind of a boss for others workers. For example, if Klaus is busy. Kol is the next big boss you would go to." Elena explains and I nod my head. "And Rebekah is a fashion designer. She loves clothes so she decided to make that her passion." Elena explains.
I literally had no idea that all of the Mikaelson's are so successful.
"I hope I get that successful one day." I say to Elena.
"Well you're dating Klaus so I would say you're one step closer." Elena laughs and I roll my eyes at her.
"Ha ha very funny but seriously. I want to be a business women to. It's always been my dream." I say to Elena.
"I believe in you. You're a smart girl. I know you can." Elena says and I smile.
How did I ended up with such a great friend like Elena.
