Chapter 36

Klaus's POV
I take a seat at my desk as I await for the women of the hour. I don't know why she's even here. I didn't expect to her see her in two months.

I hear my door knock and it opens slowly until I see my brother Kol, popping his head out.

"Klaus, she's here." Kol says and he opens my door wider. I straighten myself a bit and I see the red headed bitch herself.

"Don't be so naïve Kol. We are family after all." She says and Kol nods his head to her.

"Aurora." I say to her.

"Hello Nik." She says to me and she has a wicked smirk on her face.

"What brings you back in America so soon?" I questioned her.

"I thought we could chat. Maybe have lunch later." She suggested and I scoff.

"I'm in no mood for lunch. If you want to talk than talk now. I have things to do." I say. I try to stay civil and composed as possible and while I said that.

"Fine." She says and she takes a seat right in front of me at my desk.

"Kol, please leave us." I say to Kol and he exits my office as he closed the door behind him. "Now you have my uninvited attention. So talk." I tell her.

"What's the rush? Can't we just have a nice and peaceful conversation?" She asked.

"You showed up unannounced at my job. This is where I make my money Aurora. Not to mention you didn't even make an appointment to meet with me." I say to her.

"I'm your wife. Don't I get a pass?" She asked me and I scoff.

"We are getting a divorce. We are not in any relationship anymore. You made that very clear." I say to her.

"We are getting a divorce but legally, we are still together and that hasn't happened yet. Look I know you maybe a bit upset but this is all your fault. You decided to sleep with other women and not tell me while I've been away." She says.

"You left me after we only been married for a couple of week to go back to England." I fire back to her.

"I left because I have a company to run Klaus. I have things back at home." She says.

"Well I have things here." I say to her.

"It doesn't matter because after two more months. I will have gotten rid of everything you've got. I will simply have charge of everything and you will be nothing. You see I have significant proof of all your pass problems Nik. You specifically, when you slept with all your assistants. You payed off all of them to never say a word once they left you. How could you do such a thing?" Aurora says and I am petrified. How in the world did she find out about my pass assistants?

"H-how did you find out about that?" I questioned her nervously.

"Your records. I was able to get access to all of it once I took the Mikaelson name and now I have proof of everything." She says.

"That stuff is confidential! You had no right to go into my records!" I yell at her as I stand up from my desk.

"Don't try to pin this on me! You know what you did and now I'm going to take everything from you.You broke my heart Nik and all you had to do was stay loyal to me." She say as she stand up from her chair.

"GET OUT! GET OUT OF MY FUCKING OFFICE!" I shout at her and I see Aurora stepping back at my reaction.

"Fine. I'll see you in court. I'll be in town for a couple of days so don't think you've seen the last of me." She says and she begins to storm out of my office as she slams my door hard.

I yell and as I push everything off of my desk in anger. How could she just break into my records without my permission? Who do she think she is? This women is so infuriating and she is putting me through all this stress and paper work.

I don't even love her or even care about her. She is willing to ruin my business and my family name and take everything from me. She just makes me so angry.
