Chapter 47

Caroline's POV
I wake up from the sun shining. My body feels cold but some parts of it feels warm which is weird. I turn on my side to see if Klaus is by me but he's not.

"Klaus?" I called out.

"I'm here love." I hear him say as he walks up closer to me.

"What time is it?" I asked him.

"7:30." He says and I start to panic.

"And you didn't wake me!" I yell out to him.

"You were sleeping and I didn't want to wake you." He says.

"I have work you know. I work for you." I say to him and I begin to climb out of bed. I grunt in pain as I try to stand up from the bed.

"Woah love, are you okay?" Klaus asked me.

"My legs are a bit sore." I admit to him as I look down on them.

"Maybe you should stay home today." Klaus suggested.

"I can't just stay home because I'm a little sore." I say to Klaus as I try to get back up again. I grunt again in more pain.

"Please love. Stay home for me. It's my fault that your in pain right now." Klaus says.

"It's not your fault. It felt good." I say to him but he just sighs.

"Promise me you'll stay in bed and get better. I'll be fine today. I will mostly be in my office doing paper work. I won't need you today." Klaus says and I nod. I guess I can stay home today but what am I going to do? "Okay I'll see you tonight for dinner." Klaus says and he gives me a kiss on the forehead and walks out of our bedroom.

I flop my head back on bed and let out a huge sigh. I started to rethink about last night with Klaus again. It sucks that I get sore in the end but it's so worth it. I never had a man that pleasure me with all my sexual desires.

I'm still very worried about Klaus going to work alone. I wonder how he will function today knowing what happened. He endure so much from party yesterday and I felt like we had sex to get his mind off of it. I just hope he doesn't run into the Lockwoods today or worse. Aurora.

I spend the whole morning in bed like Klaus told me to but I've been bored. Klaus told Trish that I'm sick so she's been bringing food to me upstairs and she's been checking on me from time to time. I'm been on my phone and watching tv most of the time. It's past noon I'm starting to feel a bit better in my legs.

It's starting to heal a bit so I should be up and ready for work tomorrow. I hear a knock on the door again and I bet it's Trish again. As it opens, I see Elena popping her head in.

"Elena?" I asked confused.

"Can I come in?" She asked and I nod. "How are you feeling? Klaus told me you were sick today and he told me to come and see you after lunch." Elena informs me.

"I'm fine but I'm not really sick. I'm sore." I admit to Elena.

"Oh well I hope you're okay." Elena says concerned.

"Thank you." I say to her.

"So what have you done today?" She asked me as she makes her way to the bed.

"Just sitting here and watching tv. The usual when you can't really move." I admit to her.

"I kind of envy you. Klaus doesn't normally give people days off and when he took the day off with you yesterday, I couldn't believe it." She says.

"Yeah yesterday was really good. Except for the party." I say to Elena.

"Yeah I heard about that. It was all over the news. Rebekah also told me the whole thing last night. Me and Elijah weren't there because we went out for dinner." Elena admits. It's on the news now!

"Me and Klaus were shocked and he was so angry and I was so confused and the whole thing is still surprising." I say to Elena.

"And one thing led to another and you and Klaus basically had angry sex." Elena says with a smirk on her face.

"Basically." I admit to her.

"How was it? I mean the worse part was being sore after but I bet the experience was good." She asked me. I start to reminisce again and I bite my button lip before I respond to Elena's question.

"It was amazing. Doing sex when you're angry is something that I wouldn't do but I can't deny that it felt amazing." I admit to Elena.

"You know if I didn't know any better, I would think you two are getting really close. Like really close." Elena says.

"We are in a fake relationship. So of course we are close." I say to Elena.

"Yeah but everything you guys do is totally what a real couple would do. Klaus made this idea to be in a relationship with you and even though at first he did it to prove something to his wife but another side was that he liked you at lot. Klaus has changed since he's been with you. I see the way he looks at you. He has that look of admiration, love and lust in his eyes. I mean he literally made a plan to spend the whole day with you yesterday. I don't want to be the one to tell you this but I think Klaus is in love with you." Elena admits to me.

"Klaus and I are close because we build our friendship Elena. He doesn't love me." I say to her.

"Open your eyes Caroline! Klaus is totally in love you and you are so blind to even see that. He likes you and not just a friend. More than that and I'm starting to think that you feel the same way about him to." Elena says and I roll my eyes.

"Pfft, Yeah right." I say to her.

"They say the best relationship always start with pretend." Elena says to me.

I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter. It's a weird and bad ending to this chapter.
