Little Xi walked out of the building and found himself in a very mountainous region with three prominent peaks in the middle. The air is filled with elemental energy which circulated in harmony.

So there are five creational elements, instead of the four in my memory. He thought. This explaims a lot of things. The wind element has become a special element like light element, and is replaced by wood and metal as creational elements.

Creational elements are the basic foundation of all creation. However there are special forces, beings and items which possess a variation of the creational elements. These variations are called the special elements. Based on this alone he'll be able to modify some of his spells to make them conform to the elemental laws and make them to somehow work. But he would need to study this in a more in depth manner so as to find a permanent solution.

Looking around he found the three paths that lead to the three main peaks. Aside from the building he came from, which he assumed to be the teleportation gate where people can enter and leave the sect, there are no other buildings he can see.

He then proceeded towards the three paths. Thinking deeply, although he can probably learn alchemy and forging easily he thought that the Formations mountain should be able to teach him the foundation of magic, if it is similar at all to the magic sealed in his mind.

Making his decision he then chose the path in the middle with a sign that says Formations Mountain.

After walking for about an hour he finally arrived at the foot of the mountain. Why is it so far? He thought catching his breath. At the foot of the mountain he can finally see scattered buildings throughout.

Seeing one building in front of him he mustered his final wisp of energy and entered.

Seeing a boy enter the building a teenager about the age of eigtheen exclaimed.

Little boy are you lost? Are you from the clan mountains? This is the formations mountain you know. Where are your parents? The young man asked continously.

Hearing this little Xi didn't know what he should feel.

He then cupped his hands and handed the wooden slip to the young man.

Greetings senior. My name is Mo Xi. I am a new disciple. I was the last to pass the test hence I came late.

Seeing the wooden slip. The young man was shocked again.

Ehhhh. You're a new disciple? You're very young. I thought you are one of the children of some senior of another mountain. Hahaha my bad little junior. I like your name. I myself am called Long Qi. Three people actually chose to become a disciple of the formations mountain.

Hearing this little Xi can't help but raise his eyebrows. What does senior mean?

Well we haven't had a new disciple from the outside for 2 decades. Most of the people here either are those who have earth elemental affinity hence they weren't accepted in the other two mountains or they were born here with parents who were old disciples like me. He murmured like he had the worst luck in the world. You aren't another earth elemental are you? He asked little Xi who could only answer no wryly.

Your odd, Long Qi said before he continued his tirade.

You see master alchemists and master artificers are very in demand in the cultivation world as they can supply the two of the most important items needed for cultivation, magic items and pills!Hence becoming rich is relatively easy for them. Who doesn't want to become rich? As for formations masters, although they are experts in defense.... He trailed off.
