Although elder Qian already heard what happened there are still a lot of unclear things.

It's best if we return to camp and wait for little Xi to be treated first, she decided bringing the three with her towards the surface.

When she arrived on the valley mountain lord Bai and his disciples have just arrived.

When he saw Bai Ling he immediately called her and asked if she was okay. After making sure she was unharmed he told an advanced disciple to bring the beginner class disciples towards the camp.

Him and elder Qian went inside the hole once more. And what he saw made him astonished. So the legends are true! He whispered.

After a day little Xi woke up in a room that smells like medicine. Looking around there were no other people but there were a lot of beds.

This must be the Healing Pavilion of the medicine mountain. He deduced.

After he woke up a female disciple came in to check on him. After making sure that he was all right she said thank you.

Confused little Xi asked, do I know senior?

I am Tang Mei, thank you for taking care of little Fengyue. She has told a lot about you whenever she visits here.

Oh, little Xi said. It's no trouble at all senior. She is my elder sister after all.

You are a good kid, Tang Mei said. Your friends are all waiting outside for you to recover. But first the sect master is here for you. She finished and went out.

A man with a dignified aura walked in accompanied by his master Qian and another man with sharp sword like eyebrows.

Little Xi, elder Qian said as she gazed at him sternly. This is the sect master and mountain lord Bai, she introduced the two men.

Junior greets sects master and mountainlord, little Xi said standing up and bowing.

Sit down, the sect master said. You already know why we are here.

Little Xi nodded.

Although Ling'er and Tang Fengyue already told us what happened, there are things we need to clarify, Mountain lord Bai said.

I will do my best, little Xi answered.

Tell us about the soul stone. The sect master ordered. Little Xi then narrated how his uncle found the stone and gave it to him as a gift. He added that his uncle was a descendant of elder Moshu of the artifice mountain.

When the mountain lord heard this. Oh? Then are you a member of the Moshu clan? He asked.

Little Xi simply answered no, I am not. He continued by narrating the soul stone reacting to something deep within the western mountains showing him the spirit valley.

He then mentioned this is the reason why he went on the mission. Consequently more fragmented memories were revealed which lead them to the center of the valley where the entrance to the formation was located.

He didn't specify how he unlocked the memories but implied that being in the valley, the soul stone unlocked itself. He also narrated that when they reached the formation entrance the soul stone put him in a trance where he heard a voice.

This voice was the owner of the stone and it explained that if the demonic beings are able to prematurely escape the soul stone will guide people to the valley where the it will be used to reinforce the sealing formation.

However this is just a temporary measure so as to make the inheritors of the voice's legacy to be prepared for the eventuality of the seal breaking.
