The next day, the five kids headed to the missions hall and were greeted by Long Qi who is now an advanced class disciple. Although he can already go outside for missions he is still preparing and have decided to remain as a supervising disciple of the missions hall for a few months.

Since there are five of you, I have the best mission I can think of. It's still a gathering mission but it has more rewards.

A group lead by an advanced disciple will be leaving today and they still need five members. Do you want in? Long Qi asked.

Why does the mission need to be lead by an advanced disciple? little Xi asked.

Well, Long Qi smiled mischievously you will be gathering the mysterious wailing flower and do you know where those can be found?

When Minng Ran and Yifan heard this they suddenly gasped. Are you saying we will be going to the spirit valley?

Of Course not! the spirit vallry is too dangerous for you! Long Qi said. But you will be going near enough to see what's inside. The mysterious wailing flower grows on the ravines surrounding the spirit valley. You just need to make sure not to fall inside.

What's the spirit valley? asked Fengyue.

It's actually more of a gorge, Ming Ran said. Its a mysterious place that even spirit beasts avoid. Some inner court disciples have went to investigate it in the past and found nothing. All they can say is that it contains a weird aura that causes the qi to become scattered unless its compressed to a core, and at the same time prevents anyone who has forged a meridian to enter. The mystery surrounding the gorge is why only advanced class and inner court disciples sometimes go there to investigate and check if they can find any good fortune.

And some of them were actually successful! Yifan continued. One found a mysterious wailing flower queen which is a variant of the flower only it is bigger and rarer. Another one found a complete corpse of a one horned ice salamander which he was able to exchange for a high grade artifact!

This information caused even little Xi to ponder deeply. He had read about the spirit valley, it is one of the places which he found to be the same as the vision he saw.

However it is located quite far from the sect so he put it behind his mind. If he can go there now accompanied by an advanced disciple then it would be a very good opportunity to learn more about the memory soul stone.

Although his body's qi is still on the third level and would be dispersed once he entered the valley, the effects of the elemental body would still work. Most importantly he can still use magic using his wand. He can easily investigate the place himself.

Seeing the curious faces of the five kids Long Qi further explained,

After three hours a total of fifteen disciples gathered in front of the gateway building. It was the first building where the new disciples arrived in from the lotus temple. It was where the mission will be taking off towards the north where the spirit valley is located.
