The next morning the three felt refreshed leaving the Wang clan peak after another hearty meal.

Yifan's dad also sneaked them some meat ingredients to bring to the beginners hall once he learned that little Xi knew how to cook.

Make sure your mother doesn't find out he told Yifan.

After entering the main peaks: We should go to the missions hall first, Ming Ran suggested. The other two agreed as they would pass by the pavilion first anyway.

Thank god you're fine! Long Qi bursted out when he saw the three kids. If something happened to you elder Qian would have killed me. He said pitifully.

Don't worry senior brother, we only took a longer time to collect herbs because we were lucky to have found a lot, Little Xi said.

Entering inside it was a study filled with a number of scrolls, documents, and other items. Elder Qian sat down and told the three to sit.

After sitting down elder Qian went straight to the point and asked about the beast horde.

The three described what they saw in detail making sure not to forget even one bit. After they talked elder Qian appeared silent for a few breathes.

She already knew all these ofcourse as the sect master had called all the elders yesteday after learning about the beast horde. But there is something bugging her thus she asked the three kids to check if there was something she could glean.

She then sighed and said okay let me check your harvest I'll be giving you additional points for the information once it is confirmed.

Hearing this the three excitedly brought out their harvest, little Xi kept a few samples for himself as he wanted to study them especially the mirrorstar grass.

When elder Qian saw so many mirrorstar grass even she was shocked. This was indeed a rare herb and can only be taken deep in the mountains. This would confirm that the three did stumble farther away from the sect than they should've been.

You kids sure are lucky. She said, after checking everything she handed them a jade slip each after waving her sleeves collecting all the spirit herbs.

This jade slip contains a sliver of my qi granting two thousand points each that you can use to exchange for items anywhere within the sect. Remember to spend it well. I will be checking up on your progress soon hence you need to work hard. You two can go, she pointed at Yifan and Ming Ran who nodded at little Xi before leaving.

I've always known you were special, she said looking at little Xi. However I do not like it when people are not honest with me. Her eyes suddenly became sharp.

Little Xi realized his cover must have been found out, he can only sigh and change his plan to keep himself hidden. Once he was strong enough he didn't plan to keep lying especially to his master who have been good to him, nor to his friends.
