The garden closest to them was the fragrant pond garden. It was a big garden with scattered lotus ponds filled with blooming flowers. The group settled under a big tree. They then brought out the food and ate together while chatting.

What are the mission available for outersect disciples? Little Xi asked Ming Ran and Wang Yifan. Shangguan Li and Tang Fengyue listened closely as they too didn't know.

Ming Ran answered in between bites, Outercourt disciples are only allowed to receive tasks within the sect and the surrounding mountains. As you can see aside from the three main peaks there are mountains that surround the sect.

Some of these mountains are occupied by the nine cultivator clans under the sect like the Wang clan, Ming clan, and Long clan of the Formations peak. There is also the Bai clan, Li clan and Yun clan of the artifice peak, and the Feng and Zhou clan of the medicine mountain. The Tang clan of the medicine mountain has also been bestowed a mountain peak fifty years ago Ming Ran. He looked at Tang fengyue who nodded. Although these cultivator clans have mountain peaks within the sect, majority of their members still stay in their original teritories through out the province. He continued.

Aside from these peaks who were occupied the outer mountains are actually home to different spirit plants and spirit beasts. The stronger spirit beasts however can only be found deep in the mountains.

Missions thus include doing chores inside the sect like working in the kitchen like what me and Yifan had been doing the past month, although they are easy and safe to do the points they give are relatively low. The higher paying missions involve going out the outer mountains to collect spirit herbs and hunt spirit beasts. He finished before swallowing another bite.

Little Xi thought it over, and asked the others, have you taken your one free technique at the scriptures pavillion? Yes! Ming Ran and Yifan answered. Its that one we showed yesterday. Since we can't teach what we took to anyone, we decided to get the same technique. Once we obtain a magic artifact it would be way stronger Yifan boasted.

When little Xi looked at Shangguan Li and Tang Fengyue she answered we were planning to head there today before going to get a mission.

After eating, the six rested a bit before heading to the scriptures Pavilion. As it was on the base of the mountain they had to walk for a few minutes before they arrived.

The pavilion contains all the techniques and magic the sect had and is guarded by three elders each from the three peaks. Also it is the only place where these techniques can be found hence disciples from other peaks are also seen here.

The pavilion had three floors. The first and second floors can be accessed by outercourt disciples. But the third floor can only be accessed by innercourt disciples.

That afternoon there aren't much people in the pavilion. Most of which are from the beginners class of the other peaks as it is the third day and some of them like little Xi haven't taken their free technique.

He noticed Ceng Jin who was from his town. So he made it, he thought. He was accompanied by another from his town, he remembered he was one of the commoners who were tested first. They were wearing the robes of the artifice mountain. They didn't notice little Xi as his face is different from when he was tested. Little Xi also didn't approach them but proceeded inside.

The first floor is guarded by an elder of the medicine mountain. Upon entering they saw the elder who looked old and frail napping in the corner with a fan. He had an incense burning beside him and seemed to be dreaming. When the five children arrived however he opened his eyes.
