"Okay, Mom, i'm on my way. Yes, thank you so much. I'll see you in a few," She ended the call as I put down my earphone.

She's at the airport right now and im on my way to our resto and Mom will meet me there.

I pulled infront of the parking area and went in.

"Good morning, sir," bati nila. I waved them hi as i sat down on my usual place. I own this Orange Dining (and working on Blue Cupcakes). But I dont usually come here because most of the time, Abby is sending me sales charts, designs, updates and stuffs like that. She took care of it since the day I uhh.. Well.. Since the day I left.

I look around the room and mumbled wow. There were really big changes in designs and Abby is such a genius! I dont even remember her sending me this design. The walls are painted in cream plus a black and orange lining. The wallpaper was in a light orange vines-like brushes, though I dont even know the exact term and every details, it kinda just looks like the brushes I see in photoshop, you know. Not my thing. I shook my head as I look around again. The chandeliers. The frames. The candles and its scents. The music playing. Hmm, i wonder who's in charge on it. I just wanna see what's on the playlist. But yeah, it'd just be a waste of time for me.

Everything's cool. There were a bunch of customers and Im trying to look at their faces when someone caught my attention. A beautiful woman with a beautiful smile on her face walking towards my direction.

"Hi, son," she squeeze me as she gave me a tight hug and exciting look.

"Mom," I grinned.

"How was your trip back home?" i asked when we pushed each other and settled down.

"Oh, it will always be hard to leave Vegas, but yknow," she laughed and fished something inside her bag.

I know what it is.

I was kind of nervous, though. She looked me in the eye as she flashed her most beautiful smile. She sighed happily and said, "You are one lucky guy."

"I know I am, Mom," i answered. My voice was shaky and so are my hands.

"May you both live a happy one, that I wish. Alagaan mo yun ah!" She giggled.

"I'll do that everrrryy day," i smiled.

And there she held my hand and handed me the box. I sighed happily as I slowly lift the lock and peek.

I looked at Mom and she nodded.

"It's beautiful," i whispered when I fully opened the box.

"It is. It really is, son," Mom said and then she gave me a tight embrace.

"This is it, Mom. This is it," I hugged her back.

I looked at the box one more time and couldnt believe it's finally here. It looks perfect and I cant even think more of an adjective that can best describe how this one looks like. Beautiful is the only word I can say to this thing. This ring. I smiled.

Im ready to solder it on you finger, my love.
