Days, weeks and months have passed and she got busier than ever. She's on her way to the top but I know she's surely keeping her feet on the ground.
She has been working so hard on her album, her fifth album, entitled "Deeper". Writing songs here, recording there. Demo here, rehearse there. Tour here, fly there. I dont even know if she still sleep at night. I worry too much about Julie. But it's relieving to know that she's always with Dev, who updates me almost every after 3 hours.
It's 6 in the evening and my stomach started rumbling inside. I stopped at shabu-shabu house. There's so many fun memories that happened here.
I sat on our usual place as I look around the area. Nakakamiss kumain dito kasama siya. Memories filled my mind once again. And tonight, tonight I'm letting go.
"Good evening, sir!" I heard one staff greeted me. Aaah, Macy.
"Ay! Sir Elmo! Andito na ulet kayo!" she said happily.
"Hi Macy! Long time no see," and then I laughed, she chuckled.
"Ano po kakainin niyo tonight?!" tanong niya.
"The usual, Macy," ngumiti ako sa kanya.
"Sige po, Sir Elmo. Saglit lang po ah," she made her way to the counter before I answered.
After a few minutes, she came back with the food and I started cooking my shabu shabu.
I gotta come back here again so soon. Ang sarap sa ng food, ang bait ng mga staffs, ang ganda ng view. Pero iba pa din yung pakiramdam na nandito ako mag isang kumakain at hindi siya kasama. I hated shabu shabu before but She forced me to try. I smiled sadly again. Heto na naman ako sa pagrereminisce.
I closed my eyes for awhile and felt the warm breeze touched my skin. And the song started to play in the background.
"Say its true, there's nothing like me and you..
I'm not alone, tell me you feel it too."
Sa dinami dami ng kanta, eto pa talaga ang napatugtog. Mas lalo tuloy akong nalungkot. I sighed. I had my eyes closed still and waited for the song to end when my phone beeps.
"Runaway," i saw the text from Dev.
I replied, "Runaway??"
"Moe, yung kanta." she sent a message again.
"Dev, I dont get you," my forehead creased.
"Ayan ka oh, opposite side namin. Anong ginagawa mo dito mag isa?" I red her message again and before I could hit the reply button, I saw her with Julie. And Diva. And Jake.
I smiled at Dev and she waved hi. Hindi na napansin ng iba. Julie was talking to Jake and Diva was busy on her phone.
"So nice to see you guys. But I have to leave first. Magpapahinga din ako. Take care. Okay? Bye Dev! *hugs*" i sent her a message, left the bill on the table and immediately left the room.
I was already home when i unlocked my phone and read messages again and there was one from Dev.
"'Best, si Moe yun diba? Nakita niya ba tayo kanina? Bakit hindi siya lumapit?' and she pouted. Lagot ka Moks kay Wifey. Hahahahaha. Namimiss ko na kayong dalawa. :("
So am I, Dev. So am I.
I smiled after reading her message and Im fighting so hard for the tears not to fall.
I opened my twitter and tweeted, "I'm never gonna stop falling in love with you. #Runaway #lss :)"
Kahit na kailangan na kitang pakawalan, I will never ever stop falling in love with you, Julie.
