"I dont really wanna go," she sighed and for the last time, i checked and locked her luggages.
"I know. But you have to go," using my convincing voice, I answered.
"So, tara na," i pulled a smile on my face and carried her luggages to the car and she followed.
I drove her to the airport. And once we got there, we saw Tita Tracy and the gang were waiting for her.
"Ayan na pala sila," i heard Tita Tracy. I gave them a hug and walked them inside as I carry Julie's stuffs.
And there were reporters around asking why am i with Julie and the other staffs. I remained quiet as Julie held me on my arm and i whispered, "It's okay, Love."
"Julie, what's the real score between you and Mr. Elmo Magalona?" someone asked.
"Nagkabalikan naba kayo?"
"Kayo na ba ulit?"
They asked. Julie smiled and Tita Tracy came to rescue and said, "Guys, we are about to leave. Why dont we focus the subject sa show, diba? We're hitting New York and LA!" and then she segue, "See you New York! And were all excited for the show! Bye everyone!" she waved goodbye as we walked inside. I know i shouldnt be here but they said it was okay to stay for awhile. There's a consideration, okay.
"Okay ka lang ba?" Julie asked. Her eyes were sad. I cupped her face and answered, "Im okay. Are you?" i asked back. She nodded and tried to smile.
"Pano yung reporters sa labas?" She asked again anxiously.
"I'll deal with them later. Anyways, news na din naman toh bukas, thats for sure. Haharap na ako while you're in States. Okay? Dont worry about it too much." We look at each other's eyes. She nodded once again and gave me a tight hug.
"Anak, it's time to go," Tita Tracy came near us.
"Moe, ako na ang bahala kay Julie. Ingat okay?" i sighed and nodded. "Thank you, Tita." and then i kissed her cheeks.
Julie reached for my hand and I pulled her closely to me as I kissed her passionately on the lips.
"See you in a month, love. Have fun. Okay?" I chuckled when I saw her tears about to fall.
"Go now," i whispered.
And so she went inside after our i love you's.
You know what's funny about being inlove? You tend to forgot the outside world. All you know is you're only revolving in a world where you think the two of you exist.
There are so many roads to travel, many people to meet, many choices to choose, many things to explore and many paths to take. At alam ko, things will be rough or so, but with Julie, kakayanin namin whatever challenges and obstacles life throw us.
And one of those challenges is facing the media. Let's say im used to it. But it's far different when the talk is all about my personal life and most especially to Julie. It is something that i want and need to protect and keep. It has always been fragile. Say one word and everything will turn into blur. What happened before must not happen again. But people are people. And this is the other world: chaotic, weird and etc.
"Elmo, kailan pa kayo nagkabalikan?"
"Kumusta ang estado ng relasyon ninyo?"
"Anong nagtulak sayo para balikan siya?"
Those are few questions that I heard. I suddenly stopped and answered, "I'm happy with her right now."
What I just said was never enough for them to understand what's happening with us but i dont need to explain.
And then I went straight to my car and drove back home. I have many things to do, think about and prioritize.
Dear world, you can be sometimes weird but beautiful and funny and amazing at the same time.
