"Baby, im so tired," she whispered as we both talk via skype. She was lying on the bed with her eyes half closed.
I sighed and answered, "I know. I can see it. Matulog ka na."
She shooked her head for a hundred times in an hour since we started video calling. I've been asking her to go and sleep now but she's too stubborn and keep saying no whenever i ask her to.
"Love, kailangan mo ng magpahinga," i breathe out. Because she apparently needs to badly sleep right now. Her weary eyes almost couldnt move and so with her heavy lids.
"Kailangan kita," she almost cried in a whisper and my heart started to ache and as if it is slowly breaking when i heard her say that.
"Julie, naman!" i almost shouted softly and then i saw a tear fell from her eyes. This is so bad. I cant watch her like this. Now i REALLY regret being away from her for such a long time.
Her eyes were both closed right now but they arent in a tight shut. Her breathing was slow and i focused on her face.
"Love, ill see you in a week. Don't cry,please. Im begging you, " i sadly commented and she slowly opened her eyes in a sparkling tears.
Her concert is in three days. Her schedule is too tight and very busy. It's 4 AM in PH and she just got home when she asked me to skype. Since im stuck home, without thinking for a second, i agreed to talk to her because she said she wanted to see me and here we are.
"I had a dream last night," she began. My brows met and managed to ask,
"what was it?"
"It was me standing alone near the cliff," she said as she moved to pressed her face on the pillow.
Mas lalong kumunot yung noo ko.
"That must be a very bad dream, love." She nodded and smiled sadly.
"And there's one more."
I waited for her next words.
"Me walking in front of a hundreds of people. It was in a total blur. I dont know, baby," she heaved a deep sigh.
That one made me smile this time. It'll happen very soon.
"Bakit ganyan ang ngiti mo?" she asked curiously and suspiciously. I shook my head and playfully answered,
"Nawala lang ako diyan, kung ano ano na ang napapanaginipan mo."
She let out a soft chuckle and i joined in.
"It's different when im surrounded by your arms when i sleep. I feel so safe," she whispered and i grinned.
"Dont you take me to any other bluhs, my love. But seriously? Arent you gonna sleep yet?" i asked for the nth time but she stubbornly shook her head for a several times. I dont know what to do with her right now. How can I even convince her if she's giving me that soft look on her face that i knew no one could ever resist?!!
"Okay so what are we gonna do now?" I asked in irritated voice trying to act as if i mean to be it.
She said nothing but stared at me. I looked away because her gaze was too much and im melting.
"Quit staring, San Jose!" i warned her as i ilted my head on the corner so she can only see half of my face.
"I love you," out of the blue, she said that and its pretty much astonishing.
"Really?" Something came up in my mind. Might as well play a little this time. She nodded as an answer to my question.
I gave her a serious look and stared intently at the screen as i spoke to fire a question, "Howd you say so?"
