"Magalona, bakit na naman?" And a yell from Dev is predictable and expected. I toNld her ill be leaving the next day and im here in their hpuse begging to look after Julie while im a thousand miles apart and this is what i get. A yell. She almost cuss earlier and i knew this was coming. She cannot calm down.
"Devonne, hold on," i started calmly and after a few second, she sat down and went into a dead silence. Ever.
"Im going to US to do something very important," I breathe out. She glared at me.
"Mas importante ba yan kesa sa bestfriend ko?" she asked in a mad and irritated voice and I almost laugh but i managed to smile.
"Magalona, wag mo akong nginingitian. Papatayin talaga kita!" and with that she almost punched me in the face.
"Dev, relax, okay? Calm down. I really. Really. Need your help and there's no one i could think of to seek help but you. Only you," my voice pleading and i think it worked for she had calm back down and heaved a sigh and looked at me.
"Ano na naman ba ang ipapagawa mo?" there it is!
I showed her the folded paper containing the list that im asking her to work on for the next two months. She examined it for awhile and im seated opposite her.
"Flowers."
"Food."
"Desserts."
"Wines."

"Locations. Options"
"Gowns."
"Hunt our closest friends."

she read it aloud and she squealed.
"Magalona?" Now there's a big smile on her face and seemed to get what i was planning and asking her to do.
I nodded.
"Fuck ya! " She crazily cussed and there i started to laugh. She looked so much excited now.
"It's a surprise so bahala ka ng magtanong about the details and all that, please Dev!" i held her hand tpo convinced her and without thinking so long, she shook my hand once and said,
"Kung sinabi mo na kasi agad kanina diba? Edi hindi na ako na stress?" she joked and i laughed.
