She's swimming in the pool while i was inside cooking food for us. I remember dragging her away from the restaurant earlier without letting her finish one menu I ordered for her. When im with Julie, everything is really different. A good one. Good different. And it's just so weird that whenever she's home or anywhere around me, gusto ko lagi ko lang siyang nakikita at hindi pwedeng mawala siya sa paningin ko.
I know, i know. It even sounds cheesy, corny or what but I guess that's normal when you're..... Deeply in love with your partner?
"Baaaaabe!" a scream came from the outside and I almost drop everything I was holding when I heard Julie. I run rigjt away and headed outside and saw her at the corner of the pool.
"Anong nangyari sayo?" I breathe in.
"Nakalimutan ko yung twalya," nakabungisngis niyang sabi.
Yun lang?!!
"Julie, you scared me to death!" Naiinis kong sabi.
"Sorry, babe. Ang lamig na pala kasi," she said apologetically. I sighed and rushed in to get her towels.
"Come up now," i told her as soon as i get back. Umahon siya and i wrapped two towels around her.
"Thank you," she smiled at me and i tapped her head.
"Go take a shower and come back down for dinner," i instructed and she nodded and went straight upstairs.
I finished our menu and clean up the table. I turned off the lights in the living room leaving the lump shades on in the corners of the room and headed outside. It would be nice to have a candle lit dinner at the garden. I lit up the four blue and orange scented candles around the table served as our only light and arranged the utensils.
"Moe, bakit....." I heard Julie's footsteps as she looked around and found me at the garden.
"Love, in here," i called.
Without minding to put on her slippers, she ran towards me with a beautiful smile on her face.
"Wow," she murmured and i smiled.
"Kain na tayo?" I asked.
"Yes, please," she answered excitedly as I pulled her chair and waited her to sit down.
"Lets listen to some music as we eat," i went inside quickly and turned on the stereo and carried two of our portable speakers outside. Hmmm, random playlist.
We ate as we both listen to music.
On Bended Knees played and I saw her lips curved into a smile.
"2010, kinanta mo yan saken nung nagsosorry ka over the phone," she giggled.
I remember. That was the day that I had to leave her without saying any word because i had to hurry up and meet... Someone.
"I remember that. But lets not talk about it," i mumbled and she nodded.
We waited for the next song and From This Moment played.
"Aah! Kinanta mo naman itong kantang toh sa noontime show nung medyo hindi na okay yung relationship naten and the whole world saw how you cried infront of the camera while singing it. Hindi alam ng mundo what was happening to us back then. Tinapos mo pa din yung kanta and told the crowd that you got too emotional kasi..." i looked at her.
"kasi may naaalala ako." she finished my sentence. I nodded.
"Sad," she shook her head several times and then another song played again.
Things I'll Never Say by Avril Lavigne.
"Umm!!" we both chuckled. I guess we're thinking the same thing.
"Duet! Davao mall tour!!" we said in chorus as we laughed remembering those days that we tour together. Those were our "starting" days in showbiz.
The next song was I Should Go by Levi Kreis. I hid a smile on my face. Her forehead creased.
"This one's mine. I was at a coffee shop in LA one night. Trying so hard not to remember about me leaving you. Fighting the urge of coming back home to say sorry and all that but I knew it wasnt that easy," i told her.
"Moe, ayoko toh," she interrupted. I know. And i shouldnt be telling her these. "I'm sorry about that, love," i smiled.
She held my hand as i held it back tighter and she suddenly said, "Ayoko na ng sad days story. Mabigat sa pakiramdam."
"Nadadala na tuloy tayo sa mga kanta," i chuckled and so did she wiping away the the ugly part of the story.
"I almost forgot!" i let go of her hand and fish something inside my pocket.
"Alam ko magiging busy ka na this whole month for your album and all kaya i think it's the perfect time to give you this," i held the necklace ive been wanting to give her before and slowly showed her.
"Moe?" nakatitig lang siya sa kwintas.
I smiled and chuckled because she was glued on her seat.
"Love," i stood up and went behind her and locked the necklace.
"Moe, you've given me too much," she was teary eyed when she looked at me.
I held her face and speak, "This is nothing. But i have all the days in the world to give you small things that..."
"Tama na. This will be the last time na bibigyan mo ako ng bagay. I dont want you spending nother dime on me. Magalona, this is the last!" naiiyak niyang sabi and i cant help myself. I just cant. Napatawa ako ng mahina at hinalikan ko siya sa pisngi.
"Julie, i know you're not into this kind of my stuff, but you cant tell me that. I'll give you something that I want you to give and have" I said trying to sound a little convincing but she moved her head for the nth time saying no.
"Not a dime, Moe. Not again," she gave me a sharp warning look.
I laughed.
"..but did you liked it?"
"i really dont like it," she held the JE pendant and then she looked at me, "but i really really love it," she moved her chair and stood up, reached for me as she gave me a tight embrace.
My arms were wrapped around her automarically as my face lit up and plastered a huge smile on it. I knew she'll like it. It was a personalized one. Originally a small letter "j" pendant and when you tilt your head, you'll see a perfect "e" curve.
The song continues and we distance ourselves catching each other's gaze.
"can we.. Dance?" i let out a soft laugh and she joined in.
We stayed under the moonlight and a million stars, with a cool air, a perfect lighting and a beautiful music playing as we both gracefully move going along with the beat of the song playing.
She moved two to three steps away from me as she tried to glide and spin and it's just amazing how she really looked so perfect while dancing. She took a few more turns and glides and then suddenly her arms were around my neck and i heard her sing along....
"Time slows down whenever you're around,"
I closed the distance between us and her forehead touches mine as she go along to the song.

I dont even know what got into my mind, but whenever her lips were this close, i wouldnt want to waste a single second not to feel them.
I tightened my grip around her and i felt a smile formed her lips as we dance and kiss altogether.
Im gonna miss this kind of night. Because i have the feeling na medjo matagal ulet kaming hindi makakabonding ng ganito due to her busy schedule. But anyway, i dont wanna think about it. For now, i just wanna enjoy this moment: dance and kiss with this lovely one. :)
