Touchdown Manila!
I head straight to Devonne's house because that's the only place I think is safe for me to stay for the remaining hours before Julie's concert - which is happening in 11 more hours. She must be having jitters all over her body now. I smiled on that thought. I wish i was that close to her to give her a tight embrace and help her take away that feeling.
"Welcome back!" Dev and Will gave me a warm and long hug as they let me in to their humble abode.
"How's the trip?" Will asked as i surrender on their huge sofa and they sat opposite me.
"It's alright. Nakakapagod lang umupo," i chuckled.
"Manang, pakihandaan naman po si Moe ng pagkain niya. Salamat po," i heard Dev spoke.
"Magpahinga ka muna. You know your usual room you're staying. Ipapabuhat ko nalang tong gamit mo dun," Will told me and i slowly nodded. Just when i was about to stand, i heard Dev made a shocked noise and that made me looked at her.
"Facetime daw sabi ni Julie," she looked at me.
"Facetime mo na, mahal. Si Elmo uupo naman opposite us. Hindi niya yan makikita," Will butt in. And he's right.
"Okay okay," Dev took a deep breathe and called Julie via facetime.
"Hiiiii!" Them two gfeeted each other.
"How's rehearsal?" Dev asked as i silently sit here, listening carefully to their conversation.
"Okay na. Polished na lahat. Kinakabahan na ako. Pauwi na ako eh," i heard Julie mumbled. My eyes widened and Dev motioned me to remain quiet at relax.
"Kasama mo mga julie-guards mo?" Dev half joked at biglang napatawa si Julie.
"Oo eh. Mafa-fire daw sila ni Elmo pag hindi sumunod sa batas!" My forehead creased and the girls altogether burst out laughing.
"Bestie, wag mo kong stress'in bukas ah. Basta yung tatlong kanta, okay na yun," Dev reminded her. I didnt know she's performing with her. That's a brilliant idea though. I smiled at Dev.
"Oo naman bestie. Ayokong ma-stress kayo ni Baby ko," Julie answered with a very sweet voice.
"Baby ko, Julie Anne. Baby KO! Hindi sayo!" Dev said loudly emphasizing "ko" on her sentence. I quietly giggled as i heard Julie fired up,
"Toh naman! Makasariling isda ka! Pag ako nagka-baby, Devonne who you ka talaga sa akin!"
I know that one is very surprising! Even Dev's look were shocked and then making a huge smile on her face, she looked at me.
"Asuuuus, Julie Anne San Jose. Pakasal, ka muna, uy!" Dev laughed as she joked those words out of nowhere.
"Hoy Devonne! Pag ako talaga..." Julie ran out of words to say.
"Ano?" Dev couldnt stop laughing now.
"Ayoko na nga! Sige na! We're almost home. Try kong tawagan yung Baby ko pag hindi siya busy. Kakausapin ko saglet," I heard her say and panicked hit me.
What? Now?
"Ayeee. Yung baby niya," Dev flashed a cute grin at me and then suddenly faded when she realized something.
"Wait.. Si Elmo?"
"Oo. Dev, something wrong?" Julie's worried voice grew louder when Dev eyed me to go up. And i get what she meant. I need to use the guest room for Julie not to notice that im not in LA anymore. The guest room is i think the closest look of my room in LA so that's okay.
