Ric's POV

I looked over my notes from charms class, eternally grateful that Kathy is in it, and she so happens to be my sister, and she so happens to be the best student here, though Rose is definitely catching up, but knowing Kathy, she won't let her.

Suddenly my door opened and Cierra came in, walking over to my bed and laying down face down on the pillow.

I ignored her and kept reviewing my notes. She sighed loudly and I smiled a little, but ignored her again. She sighed even louder and I finally closed my notebook and turned to her.

"What is it, C?"

"What the hell am I supposed to tell Mami?"

"Maybe that you're fucking stupid for leaving the note there?" I teased and she threw my pillow at me. "I'm just trying to help." I mocked and threw it back at her.

"But seriously, what explanation am I supposed to give her? How am I supposed to tell her who sent that note?"

"Well you could always tell her the truth." I said as I leaned back in my seat and put my quill behind my ear.

"How much of the Longbottom's weed did you smoke?" Cierra scoffed at me and I rolled my eyes.

"I'm serious, C."

"Yeah. Sounds great: 'hey Mami, that note's from Nova, you know, she just decided to use me to see if she's actually bi or not. It's no big deal. She basically begged me to fuck her and I agreed but when she got to my room I said no and she got mad and suddenly decided that she's not bi. But, all good here Mami. Say hi to Papi for me'." She rolled her eyes.

"Well, I wouldn't say it like that but something along those lines maybe." I shrugged.

"I hate my lifeeee." She groaned and rolled on my bed to land on the floor with a thud. What the fuck?

"Shit. C, are you ok?" I quickly rose to my feet.

"I'm fine, I did it on purpose." She claimed in a muffled voice since she was facedown on the ground. "Maybe if I go out to the Whomping Willow it can throw me around enough so that I go to St. Mungo's to get hospitalized and Mami's too worried about me to care." She suggested and we both stayed silent for a second before bursting out, laughing.

"Yeah, right. This is Mami we're talking about. She A) has connections in St. Mungo's B) is one of the best healers in the wizarding world so she'll heal you up herself and C) as soon as you're better she'll ask." I listed off the reasons as to why that wouldn't work on my fingers.

"Damn it!" She yelled. "Why does Mami have to be so... you know..."

"Mami?" We both said at the same time.

"I don't know C." I said as I laid down on the floor next to her.

"Mom's gonna kill me." She groaned, switching her position so she would be horizontal and she put her legs up on the side of my bed and leaned her head on my stomach. This is comfortable for you? You weigh a shit ton. She visibly relaxed a little and I begrudgingly decided not to move.

"Look C, if it'll make you feel better. I can say the note was for me. I'll say you found it and took it away from me and you were going to throw it out but you lost it, so you just didn't worry about it. I'll say it's from Nova but that it was for me, got it?" She lifted her head up a bit and turned to look at me, smiling eagerly.

"Seriously? You would do that for me?"

"Yeah, yeah. Don't get all worked up about it. You owe me." I threatened but she still smiled at me.
