Kathy's POV

I don't know what feels true

My first thought is that Amelia fucking Farrow is standing here.

Watching us.

Certainly infuriated, and a look of betrayal on her face evident.

At least that's the voice I hear.

But it's not just her, my sister is standing at a fair distance from her. Her arms crossed and a look of disappointment and anger all over her face, both of them angry at the same thing.

I immediately jumped off of Damon and fixed my sweatshirt and appearance to make it look as if I hadn't just been making out with my ex. As if I wasn't doing exactly what I was just doing.

"How could you?!" Amelia yelled at Damon.

At the same time, Cierra yelled at me. "How could you be so bloody idiotic?!"

"C, I—"

"Shut up." Amelia directed herself at me and I raised an eyebrow at her.

"Don't talk to me like that." I responded firmly.

"Yeah, don't be fucking rude to my sister." Cierra supported me.

"Thanks, C."

"Shut up." My sister shushed me and I glared at her. "Let's go."

"C just—"

"Katherine Ruby. Let's. Go." She commanded and turned on her heel.

Damn. When she calls me by my middle name you know it's serious.

I turned to Damon. "I umm... I've got to go."

Damon nodded. "Yeah. Me too."

Then I turned and followed Cierra out of the secluded hallway, but as soon as we turned the corner I stopped her and we both crouched down to listen in to their conversation.

"How could you?!" Amelia yelled at him. "You said you two were done!"

"We were! We... are?" Damon responded.

Are we?

"It doesn't look like you're done."

"What do you care, anyway? We're not together."

"But... but I thought that we..."

"You thought wrong."

"But you said!"
