Cierra's POV

I cringed as the alcohol burned my throat.

I hope this gets rid of the dizziness I've been feeling.

Grandmummy eyed me carefully but I decided to ignore it. Papi's mom has always been a bit odd.

But I get it. She's gone through a lot of abuse, I mean, I'm not normal either. No one really is.

I heard Kathy cough and we all laughed lightly at her reaction to alcohol.

I felt Grandmumsy come up from behind me and place a light kiss on the top of my head and I smiled politely at her. Ugh. Affection.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely adore Grandmumsy, but I want to adore her from a distance.

"And so I told him..." Aunt Mione continued her story about some male chauvinist coworker she had. "Once you know every single spell there is to know, then come question my decisions. Otherwise, question me again and you can apparate away and never come back. Thank you."

My mom laughed along with everyone at her sister's coworker's idiocy. We all know you don't question Hermione Granger. You just don't.

"And this is why we say kill all men." I announced and everyone nodded in agreement.

"You see? It's not just me! I said that when we still attended Hogwarts and all of you looked at me like I had grown a third head." Ginny reprimanded Aunt Mione and my mom as she leaned on my mom's shoulder.

"All except Papi." Kathy smiled warmly.

"No, let's kill him off too." Mami teased and we all laughed.

"Mal, there have been so many times you wanted to kill him, yet you never did." Aunt Mione pointed out and Mami simply stuck her tongue out at her.

"Sis... she almost did!" Ginny recalled excitedly, sitting up and leaning more towards Aunt Mione.

"What? When? And why did I miss this?" Aunt Mione demanded answers to her questions.

"Because you were out Merlin-knows-where trying to not get killed while finding Horcruxes." Mami scoffed, obviously still holding a bit of a grudge.

"Wait... did you and Papi really fight that much?" Kathy spoke softly.

"Oooo..." Every adult in the room teased while I simply took another sip of my drink.

Slow down. Grandmummy mouthed at me and I sighed loudly, putting my drink down. She eyed me worriedly but looked away once she saw I noticed.

I have a high tolerance. I'm fine. I wanted to mouth back but kept my mouth shut.

"Well..." Mami began hesitantly. "Honestly: yeah. We used to fight all the time. It wasn't until after the war that we stopped fighting so much."

"Were they bad? Like really bad fights?" Kathy pressured and I saw my mom grow stiff as she took a sip of her own drink.

"Kathy." I called her firmly but she shook her head at me.
