Ric's POV

Those wild eyes.
A psychedelic silhouette.
~~~
Everything felt cold. It was dark.
Silence. Complete and utter silence.
But there was someone there. I felt a presence.
My whole body shudders as I hear an ear shattering scream, I realized it was Cierra.
What the hell?! Cierra!
I try to run to her, but I'm not moving.
I'm on the ground. Unable to move.
Why can't I move?
Again comes the scream. I can't see her, just hear her.
My body and mind are fighting against each other. Everything in me is telling me to run and help her, but my body refuses to move. It's just still. On this cold ground.
I try to scream out for her, my mouth can't move either.
Again I hear the scream, her scream, and I realize it's much closer than I thought.
That's when I discovered something. I can't see anything, everything's pitch black. My eyes are closed.
Why can't I open my eyes?!
"Cierra!" I hear Kathy scream, and her feet run on the ground. "Stop it!" I hear her panicked voice again.
Who is she talking to?
I still can't open my eyes.
Instead, I stop feeling the cold, wet ground underneath me and now feel grass and patches of dirt.
I can finally open my eyes, Kathy and Cierra are laying down beside me, all three of us are waking up. We stand up and we all feel it.
Something's coming. Something dangerous.
Suddenly, Kathy gives out a heart wrenching scream. Just when Cierra and I turn to look at her...
I wake up.
"Ricky!" Al whisper-yelled at me from beside me on my bed and I sat up suddenly, drenched in cold sweat. "You're pale, you were screaming. Nightmares, again?"
I nodded.
A nightmare. Shit. Kathy.
I looked at him and he already knew, he swung his legs over the other side of the bed and stood up just as I did and opened the door. "Kathy. I know." He confirmed.
I hurried out of my dorm.
We get nightmares, it's always been a thing, we both get the same one usually, it's probably a twin thing or something. Studies have shown twins' minds connect in weird ways, especially for wizards.
Yuppie... right?
Our parents used to help us with these nights back when we lived with them 24/7 but ever since Hogwarts we learned to take care of each other. My Papi told me that the first day before boarding the train, "protect your sister. At all costs. Family first. Always." I've never forgotten those words.
