Trigger Warning: mentions and descriptions of rape and sexual assault.

97% of women. Ninety-Seven Percent. (Sexual harassment, not necessarily rape.)

I am part of that 97%. That's why I wanted to include so many mental health issues and problems and trauma in this book. Because they're real. They're raw. A lot of people go through it, including me.

My dms and comments are always open, there will be no judgement allowed here.

Please remember, if you're part of this 97%, that you ARE NOT at fault. It is NOT your fault. took me a long time to understand but it wasn't my fault and it's not yours either.

swipe to listen, as always.

alright, enough. Here you go:

Just like any other trauma in my life—
Man, I'll be fine

Kathy and I rushed over to open the door with Mami at our heels and we all followed the crowd.

I followed Kathy, threading through the other three adults, and walked over to Roxy.

"Rox, what's happening?" She asked her as we turned the corner.

"We were talking about some heavy serious shit in the headmistress' office and we heard something move outside, turns out your bestie was eavesdropping."

"My best... fuck. Amelia." Kathy growled.

"Wait." I interrupted as I struggled to keep up their pace. "What heavy shit?"

"We first talked about Damon's addiction issues, and then we talked about..." She eyed Kathy worriedly. "We talked about my dickhead of a brother."

"Oh." Kathy whispered.

Fred.

"So she knows?" Kathy asked her. Roxy nodded.

Shit.

"So we're following her? Looks like she's going to the dining hall." I pointed out as we walked in the direction I assumed the bitch went to.

"Yeah. That's what we're afraid of." Roxy sighed.

Suddenly, Damon nudged my sister. "Can we talk?"

"I'm a bit busy right now, if you couldn't tell." Kathy responded.

Damon groaned. "But—"

"There she is." Roxy exclaimed and we watched as Amelia walked with a purpose inside the dining hall. We followed.

"Mel. Whatever you're about to do..." Damon warned her but she didn't listen.

She walked to the middle of the relatively full dining hall and screamed out. "Hey everybody! Want to hear the latest news?!" Everyone in the dining hall turned to her.

Where the bloody hell are the professors when you need them?

"Listen, you better get down from there." George warned her.

She ignored him once again. "So we all know about the 'dream couple' don't we? Damon and dear little..." She turned to glare at my sister, "Katherine." The word dripped from her mouth like venom, an act of obvious hate towards my sister. Everyone muttered their agreements to her question. "Well, we also all believe he was the first one to fuck her, don't we?" A lot of the students hooted their encouragements but shut up when I glared at them.
