Chapter 44

It was Saturday. Cooper along with Greed was back from his trip causing everyone at school to be happy and terrified as they had behaved well, they hoped that no one caused trouble for Cole and Wrath to report to Cooper who was nice if you behaved. Wrath and Cole gave their full reports of what happened in the past few days, Cooper did seem quire interested in every word as they spoke of their new history lesson on the mass murderer Wyatt who managed to wipe out most of the kingdom alone even if he brought others that didn't do much in the attack. Cooper was quite excited as they rarely got dark history lessons especially on humans as people already have a general idea of humans being the trash of the planet, Cooper was excited and wanted every detail of how Wyatt could have accomplished that mostly on his own if there was people far stronger that could have defeated him. To think the current Spade Kingdom was the second kingdom and not the original made by the original Spade who made more Spades, Four Leafs then Plants. Cooper wondered how the ruined Kingdom was still around decaying, Cooper wouldn't go there as he didn't want to anger the ghosts of tbe Plants who died there in the attack.

Greed had his arms in some bandages as some group tried to attack Cooper, otherwise Greed was completely fine and happy as he did a good job defending Cooper. Greed couldn't tell Cole and Wrath much as Greed's family told Greed to come home, Greed waved goodbye to the group and went running home. Cooper and Cole were discussing in Cooper's room while Wrath stood outside the door stopping anyone from coming near, Blue tried to talk to Wrath, but Cooper glared at Blue telling him to 'mind his business'. Wrath just shrugged at Blue as he wasn't even allowed to talk to anyone when Cooper was present, Wrath apologized to Cooper who just sighed and went back in his room as Wrath let out a sigh of relief. Blue tried to talk to Wrath again to which Wrath whispered

"I can talk to you later, Cooper is in his discussion and we cannot disturb. He let me off easy because I'm the closest one to him, but I won't push my luck." Blue nodded confused and let Wrath stand at Cooper's door for another 4 hours.

Cooper told Wrath he did a good a job and let Wrath do what he wanted, Blue was sitting in his room when he heard a knock to which Blue told whoever knocked to come in. Blue was surprised that Wrath actually came, he let Wrath in who walked in silently. Wrath sat on the floor while Blue sat on his bed waiting for Wrath to say something to him as Wrath slowly turned to him saying

"Never speak to me when I'm on the job as Cooper doesn't like me slacking off, what is it that makes you want to talk to me? I know what you've been doing, your not slick. The others may not see that your trying to get rid of us to get to Cooper, but I do so very much." Blue was surprised that Wrath out of all them figured Blue out.

"I have not much against you, just Cooper. The kid is insane and I don't think he needs protection, look I'm desperate to get rid of him. Cooper isn't in the right state of mind to rule a kingdom." Wrath stayed silent.

"I understand. I don't think you'll ever be able to get rid of me and others as we far surpass you Blue, just because your royal doesn't mean that you guys are the only powerful Sprites. I love to be myself and silly, but right now I can't joke to cheer anyone up, Cooper can be bad at times. We all got these jobs for different reasons and I plan to keep mine, I'm no puppet to Cooper as one may think. The guy goes easy on me more because I don't judge him and he doesn't judge me, the guy is alright." Wrath looked bored discussing this.

"Does he ever abuse you guys? You guys seem a little intimidated by him." Wrath turned to Blue.

"We're supposed to be intimidated as he's our boss. Our only use is to give up our lives to protect him and possibly get replaced like every other Sprite here, it's the same cycle over and over. I have pushed Cooper's buttons quite a bit with the silly things I do." Wrath left Blue's room not caring what else Blue had to say.
