Chapter 22: Suspicious

Blue's P.O.V.

Nick was acting weird as would just scratch at his face constantly before he abruptly stops and stares directly aat me even though he's blind. The other servants came along and all they do is just stand there with hope drained from their eyes as if they came to learn there was no way that they can ever be happy. If my guess is right then they must have died just like Nick or have been somewhat eaten but that theory doesn't sound right in a way because if they were eaten like Nick then how the heck are they all back as if they were never squished beyond recognition? There was something up as it was so weird they stood there so quietly with different numbers in their tuxes or maid outfits, the one with the number 1 seemed to have given up way before and who knows how long these guys have been alive as there was no record before about it yet there was more than 5000. Only 1, along with 4950 through 5000 were here with us while the others aren't with us right now, while Nick's number was 9999 so there must have been more that the freak didn't show off at all.

There wasn't anything that Nick had said at all yet though he was talking to the servant with the number 1, unlike the other's he had no fake name and only went by the number 1 as his name or identity. Just how long has this guy been forced to listen to that freak without any help from anyone for so long which made me worry just how stable the guy was right now at the moment, though I may have been just acting paranoid or protective about him there is no saying for sure if he's stable. I went towards the local library and went to royal section where only royals can go and see some exclusive history they'll need and I was surprised to see stuff on the servants but it didn't mention they worked for the Boo-bye so it was just images of them. There was not a lot on who they were as Dad's people were known to be able to track people's identities but they couldn't track who the heck the servants names were and they weren't anywhere in history. Even if they found some info it would always be beyond repair to read and find out more like there was missing poster that were scratched but badly and only the profile pic was somewhat readable while the info on them was shredded beyond repair.

It was sad these people probably had to die the same way Nick did and whatever other thing Boo does to get what he wants even if it takes a long time. First Servant or short for FS told me

"Yeah, Nick had been on the target list for Servants as Boo foretold that your Dad's magic would break out amd it would probably kill off Nick. So, Boo gave out some normal looking fog to your home as you guys wouldn't be able to tell the difference between your normal fog compared to his to think it was suspicious much. Nick had fallen for it but the virus only targeted Nick so while you challenged Cooper a while back, the virus had entered Nick's bloodstream. It waited for the opportunity." That really made me wonder just how long they waited or when that supposed virus entered.

I had really failed in protecting someone who was in my reach way before the virus could active and make Nick die. As Dad's magic already killed off those that weren't him, imagine something like the virus intensifying it? I asked quite a few questions to FS as he knew his stuff and the others did but they recommended me talking to FS about that as it was a sensitive topic for them. So I walked over to him and didn't do any small talk just asked right away as I wanted to know everything that freak was playing at all this time. FS was apparently the one that was least harmed by Boo as the only thing he was used for was to help speak through FS amd his voice. Boo didn't like talking even though FS said he could just didn't seem to like to or for some other fucked up shitty plan that bastard with that bitch ass smile.

FS didn't seem happy talking about the freak either, but he has a reason to hate the guy more than I do. I would hate the guy more tham words could say if I was made the first subject of his cruel game like FS was, he apparently had served Boo for more than 300 years amd more but he stopped at 300 and wouldn't tell me the exact years even though we both knew he still counted.
