Chapter 18: Can you hear me?

It was sad to see that Nick died that way and there is no way they can bury him because they have nothing to bury so it only makes Blue more pissed off the grinning piece of shit didn't leave one limb behind. Blue got a phone call from. . .Nick? Somehow even though it couldn't be possible and when he answered there was static and one line was said before Nick hung on Blue, he said

"Can you hear me?" Click

Blue didn't tell anyone as he thought he was starting to go crazy and only imagined what had happened just now. Everyone acted different to the three deaths and it wasn't good as the castle was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Cooper had locked himself in his room with a "Do not disturb" sign on his doorknob and there hasn't been a single peep from the room yet. Petals took a shower twice without saying a word and went ti bed silently crying locking her door as well, though there was sniffling coming from her room. Kat was visibly shaking as she went to her room and closed the door not locking it as she went to bed after having taken a shower a few hours ago.

Blue was officially the last sextuplet while his four dear sisters and dearest brother were dead, Blue locked his door crying harshly as he lost 6 family members in the same year. Blue wondered if he would die to just like Dad or his five unfortunate siblings probably worse as he is the sinner while the 6 unfortunate family members were more purely innocent compared to him. If they weren't even iff the hook then why would he be off the hook either? Death is the fairest of them, as ut gives everyone one death guaranteed except for those weird immortal jellyfish things as death hasn't figured those things out yet, but gosh dang is death coming for those thing! That thought made Blue chuckle a little for the first time in a while as the thought of death not being able to kill those things was funny.

Blue hasn't seen anybody but Father who is comforting Uncle Mercury who feels as though he's failed ti save 6 people, 3 different time leading to them to die brutally. Mercury told Blue that Father mourns internally or as he said

"My brother cries on the inside." Mercury was stull crying when he said that to Blue.

Father just nodded with a blank not actually caring though Mercury knew his brother may act or look stone cold but he dies cry internally and acts more mean or rude and silent is the biggest sign of that even if further doesn't know that Mercury knows. Let's forget about Nick being dead for a bit and focus on why Dad and Father never liked each other in more detail. Well Dad had never met Father until 18 year old Mercury and him came for a treaty and as 18 year old Dad was king he thought it was a great idea as both kingdoms had been at war for years before the three of them were even born.

But the villagers would only go through with the treaty if there was a marriage and some mix breeds from both kingdoms. Father was nice at first to Dad as they knew they didn't like each other that way so they were kind of like friends who needed to act lovey dovey in public so sometimes it was awkward between the two. They just got a piece of both their magic and threw it in waiting for the first kid and they were both fine with one kid as it wouldn't be to hard but after Petals was born the people grew greedier and wanted them to have more kids as they thought if Petals died then would be over and previously they tried to have the first kids which was before Petals and they didn't make it as something went wrong and the kid died in the result of it. Things were good until more of the kids were born and Father had a argument with Dad and they stopped getting along and Dad had to take hits defending the kids. Everything was somewhat peaceful when it was only Petals that was the only kid and she would be the only one to know how it was like as it went downhill.
