Now Blue had to prepare everything for all his longer fun schemes and no one to joke with. Blue looked out his window sighing as he saw a shooting star amd for the first time Blue wished with all his heart hoping to go back in time like nome of those events ever happened though Blue's wish was left unknown as you if you tell someone your wish it won't come true. When Blue rarely left the castle people throughout the village would whisper to each other about what happened while staring at Blue as he walked around remembering all the times he hung out with Nick back then.

Blue didn't care anymore if people whispered while he walked by as he only cared about having Nick walk by his side again with that perky smile of his whenever they walked together somewhere. Blue didn't even mind being teased by Nick about his crush because if it meant Nick would come back he wad all for it was really really annoying. He really loved his little brother Nick even if Nick was a few minutes younger compared to Blue and Blue will still use that against him. Blue of course would never say this out loud that he would kiss any of his siblings if they were to die to or if Nick came back to life then maybe hr would admit it to Nick. There was no way he would leave Nick aline if he was alive again and Nick would just have to deal with an emotional and clingy Blue if he were to come back so he might either find it annoying or really sweet and he wouldn't mind.

Cooper honestly didn't know what to think as it didn't seem to sink in all the way that Nick, Blossom, and Loni had died after even being splattered in his older siblings blood but after Father hosed him off to get rid of the blood that had spilled on him, it sunk in after that happened. Blue was sad though he went to school his siblings deaths seem to have broke the camels back as Mercury, Father, Petals, Cooper, and Kat couldn't bring themselves to stop crying and he obviously noticed their behavior as it was just to obvious. He tried to get Cooper to cheer up but Cooper lay in his bed as tears fell down and Petals just kept blaming herself so Blue realized both of those had enough and were already thrown over the edge from what happened. Linnie tried cheering Cooper up and it worked enough to get him to talk to Lin but no one else for the matter so Blue was left with a depressed family who couldn't move on easily. He had seen the guard nor even flinch when a fellow guard was grabbed by a monster that was at the other side of the thick walls protecting them and them not even being scared as they tried to fight but failed made it all the more sad to see.

Blue was shocked the gate guards cried at the mention of his Dad as most grew up with him by their side, he would always appreciate them while everyone else didn't care if they died and got upset when a monster even caused a small casualty. They had recently been harassed and thrown around when they walked anywhere as they were supposedly at fault for not dying instead of Nick and Blue didn't blame them for not being able to stop the freak monster. None of the attacks worked so what could they do, some even got kicked out of the way when they tried to grab Nick causing them to die on impact. They were born then thrown to that job only to get mistreated by those they die to protect which is just a definition of a total assholes at that so you could imagine how crappy it was when you barely got any food or support cause you were expected to die. Then, Dad came in and made them a giant mansion with all they can ever want because he worked woth them and got respected but noticed that no one acknowledged the amount of deaths of gate guards.

Since Dad was the best gate guard at the time no one cared who died or who survived because Dad would use his magic to summon his own beast to beat them or just kill them with his bare hands. He would require that the gate guards hide him at first so he can take them by surprise but gate guards would die doing that and no credit was given to for fighting for their kingdom and dying willingly knowing no one cared. It wasn't a life you wanted as you didn't die with honor since no one would remember your name and only the gate guards or rarely family of yours would cone to your funeral but anyone else didn't care. Dad went to so many funeral where only mostly the gate guards only came for the fallen companion of theirs that dreams and life were cut way to short, way to easily without a care. He provided money amd support for the gate guards as Dad believe they should stand on pedestals for having fought and died or lived saving everyone inside the walls of the kingdom.
